Treasures from the threads - Number Thirty-nine.

I believe that in years to come historians will mark this period in
our history as the great awakening.

The people of this land have begun to see the truth shining through
the fog of lies and spin. They have felt the sunshine of honesty and
integrity on their backs driving away the colds mists of imposed lies
and deceit from their political servants at Westminster and beyond.
This honesty and truth is not coming from politicians but is rising
within their own hearts again after years and years of "trusting"
those who told them they where their political masters: Those perverse
con men and women men who told them they were smarter than the
ordinary plebs and who then, with treason and disdain, ruined our
land. The people are waking up, not only to the games the politicians
play, but those played by broadcasters and press hacks.

It does not matter who wins this election because this election will
the last of the sham choices the people of this land will tolerate.
The three party system with its two big hitters claiming the right to
rule is dying and it is dying because it has failed. It has failed
because it breeds supreme arrogance in those who are a part of it. The
belief that they can do anything, speak any lie, twist any truth,
ignore any voter, dismiss any concern that does not interest them,
feather any bed they sleep on, commit any evil they wish and still be
voted in next time because the stupid media will manipulate the people
into voting for them again.

The people have looked closely at this shambolic mess we laughingly
call democracy and have seen the hidden hands of the Murdoch's pulling
strings. The BBC has, with the same arrogance of their socialist
masters in Westminster, over played their hand and have been exposed
as Pravda Lite and in the process began to lose a reputation world
wide for speaking the truth. The endless parade of simpleton left wing
attack dogs on our TV screens, masquerading as "alternative" comedians
and running everything decent into the floor with mocking voices has
begun to wear very thin. The days of the "celebrity" Chav are,
thankfully, nearly over.

It is this non stop drip, dripping of sick, perverse, nasty and
manipulative Marxist psycho-politics that has woken the people up to
what they have been missing in their own daily lives -- Simple decency
and truth. Once the truth appears, however dimly on the horizon of the
mind -- like the first rays of the Summer sun burning off the cloying
fog of Winter -- a new joy and confidence rises. You begin to smile
again. Long sunny days are ahead and a spring bounces into your steps.
Young and old alike can feel the warmth of that truth and contrast it
with the cold dead wind of lies the spin merchants bring with every
calculated word they utter.

This may well be the last time the electorate have to put up with the
televisual bull that has ruined and blighted us for so long. As the
people of the land realise the power lies with them and not the
"professional" spinners of either Westminster or Fleet Street (as the
collective media were once known) they will begin to reject what the
newspapers try to make them believe. They will turn away from likes of
Dimbleby Jon Snow and Krishnan Guru-Murthy and other purveyors of
propaganda on TV and radio. Celebrity half wits like Bono and Lily
Allen will be no longer be enough to make us think like good little
Marxists and do as they tell us. Soap operas filled with lefty
political messages and neutered PC ridden halflings selling yet
another guilt trip designed under the Frankfurt School political
master plan of personal and social destruction, will fall on deaf
ears. The whole pseudo-political circus tent will be burnt down and
the country will be free think for themselves again. The Commons will
have common folk in it; but wiser, smarter, more alert common folk
than ever before because, for the first time in a long time, they will
be awake once more.

The great sleep of the creepy lying wizards spinning their nasty
spells is nearly over. The future is bright and the future is ours, if
we will reach out and embrace it.

There may be bloodshed ahead (God forbid) but that depends on how hard
and desperately the sickos cling to power. However this revolution of
the mind and heart goes, one thing is certain-, the politicians and
the media are GOING to change. Whether they do so voluntarily or by
force, that change is coming and the corrupt, both here and in the EU
are going to be made to go away. If the truth takes flame here in
Britain there is a chance it will spread abroad and Britain can lead
the way again.

The flame of truth is rising and that is what the liars fear the most.
So they should and so they must! The sleeping giant is stirring and he
is called, the British people. Britain is waking and Cameron, Blair,
Clegg and Brown may be the last high priests of bull we ever have to
listen to again.

I truly hope so. Today, my land that I love lies bleeding under the
boot of lies. Tomorrow -- if we, the people, will embrace the truth --
that boot will be gone and decent values will rule once more to make
our land well and restore it and its people to greatness.

Busted BBC - We are all only a few mouse clicks from FACTS

Entwistle has gone as DG but toadlike Patten remains. The BBC has become fat, lazy and shoddy like the Chair of its Trust, because it knows it is already surplus to requirements.

The truth on any story is available to us all most simply from our home laptop computers, very often on the web pages with back-up links as supplied by Wikipedia. Here are a few examples to set you off on your own search for the hidden secrets of our joint past and present reality.

Genetics/Neanderthals
Despatches from Turtle Island with host of links to explore myths of various specialities
Civilisation spread across the Mediterranean from West to East: Link
Pytheas the explorer
I Galigo Creation Myth from Indonesia

Poor old Entwistle, forced out for showing all the qualities for which he was picked for the post; but just quite too obviously. Poor old BBC Newsnight team, taught to bend, twist and manipulate facts to fit the very odd BBC view of the world, night after night, AND in the face of all the evidence to the contrary, now villified for following their masters' presumed desires just too dishonestly!

Academics have prospered by following the examples of their teachers and propagating lies from one generation to another for generations. Now the internet proves, for all who care to seek it, that in many areas the truth is otherwise! Is this why generations of new university entrants have their brains and enquiring instincts deadened by a rampant and encouraged drink and drugs culture, in order one supposes that they can lead their lives in dumb servitude as we see all across the media and further evidenced by the rampant incompetence and ineptitude at virtually every level of public administration.

Want the truth then go online, soon they will probably try to shut it down. Stop paying your BBC licence fee if you want to hope for a return to truth in broadcasting. Get the facts on the filth that are our political class, there is much of it there, however hard they struggle to keep it hidden!

When National Courts are Defied - The EU gains again. Plus Barnier's plea for World Governance!

Spain's Constitutional Court ruled there were to be no demonstrations in Spain this weekend. At 2400 hours, midnight last Friday, thousands of silent protesters with sticky tape over their mouths and bare hands held high, silently greeted the new day, watched over by occasional policeman, their riot gear for now laid aside. As Saturday arrived and the illegality of their presence took effect a huge cheer swept across the thousands there assembled to celebrate their protest. If my words do not convey the feeling and seriousness of this moment, I posted a video of the scene from Madrid as the clock struck, which may be viewed from the post below this. The Irish Times also has a good report from Spain, linked here, from which I quote this significant passage:

"Protesters were also gathered in Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla, Bilbao and other cities, as they have been all week, urging people not to vote for Spain's two main parties, the ruling Socialists or the centre-right opposition Popular Party in tomorrow's local elections."

Here is the new theme for Europe, seen recently in Finland! Most main political parties across Europe do indeed deserve electoral annihilation, but we must retain the authority of our national courts, or our streets will become the sole property of the riot-gear clad goons of Europol!

In England, in an action that appears to be deliberately designed to destroy the respect for our judiciary and legal system, super injunctions have become the norm, ludicrously forbidding, under penalty of fines or imprisonment, the very reporting of their existence. If judicial greed is not the motive for such an outrage against all norms of justice, where secret courts are surely one of the most fundamental outrages against all our historical liberties, then the only realistic alternative I can divine is that our senior justices are determined upon undermining the authority of our national courts, if so I presume, this can only be to enhance the authority of courts from the EU, thus aiding our newly subversive legal establishment in the near open state of warfare that now exists between them and our Parliament.

In Britain, the open defiance by thousands of tweeters, and also on the internet, of one such super injunction (comically involving a mere footballer) has turned the intent of the secret gagging order into farce, spreading information far beyond the litigant's zone of celebrity, while another, far more serious, was exposed in Parliament, as I posted on this blog earlier this week.

The danger in all this is that it advances the power and control of the non-democratic and increasingly fascist EU at the expense of the authority of our national legal systems, which with our parliaments neutered, have now become the last bastion for the protection of our few remaining liberties. Therefore this is an ominous development indeed.

Yesterday I Fisked the Humboldt University, Europe Day speech of Michel Barnier delivered 9th May which ended with the following demand, regarding world governance:

"For world governance, the table around which today’s G20 gather will not be enough. Europeans need to be active partners, not mere spectators That is why the unity of Europe remains a new and just idea."

The entire terrifying but predictable speech, heralding a new dawn for planned Franco-German Imperialism giving new life to the ideas expounded by Napoleon and Kaiser Wilhelm II, may be read in French, German and English from this link.
My Fisking of the speech has been posted to the "Orphans of Liberty" web site, linked here, including far superior and better informed comment from Anne Palmer.

Posts to the Orphans of Liberty site, however, appear only after some considerable time delay, so in view of the rapidity with which events now seem to be unfolding  falling apart, and as it is a Sunday morning, and many of my readers will have plenty of reading time available, given the quantity of pure garbage in the UK Sunday press, I post Anne Palmer's comments on the speech herewith:

My thoughts-at least a few of them- on Michael Barnier’s Speech at Humboldt University 9th May 2011.

From the Speech, “In my heart, I am convinced that Churchill, De Gaulle and Adenauer - who I deeply admired because they were passionately patriotic while also being pragmatic and clear-sighted, would today say that defending one’s national interest can no longer be a purely national matter1.”
I doubt very much Churchill would have agreed with that, for.   “When I warned them [the French Government] that Britain would fight on alone whatever they did, their generals told their Prime Minister and his divided Cabinet, "In three weeks England will have her neck wrung like a chicken." Some chicken! Some neck! Winston Churchill.”
Speech: “For 60 years we have been building Europe for its citizens and in their name; but too often we have been doing it without them”.  EXACTLY! A rather foolish thing to do when what they wanted was to be permanent.
Speech:With hindsight, I think that it was a mistake to talk so much of the engine and mechanics of Europe instead of talking about the road we are travelling on together, the stages along the way, and its destination”.   The real destination was always hidden from the people, and it is my belief it always will be.   Quite Simply, MP’s want their jobs and their pay still, and here in the UK, to do what they have done, hidden, stealthily was and is, I believe, treason, according to their Oaths of Allegiance and Common Law Constitution.
Speech:And today's world is not easy. It is a period of uncertainty and of an unclear future, a time of shrinking room for manoeuvre. But one thing that I am absolutely sure of, is that this period will be even more difficult if every European tries to go it alone, fighting his own corner, rather than working together”.  We have fought two World Wars-alone in that no one was tied by Treaties but true friends came and fought along side of us.  They lent us money which may have taken 60 years to pay off, but that was true friendship.
Speech:As President Obama told the American people: “The rules have changed. The world has changed2They have indeed.  Certain people want full power over-all.  It is a move backwards when people were slaves and had to do as they are told in everything.  We elect politicians only to realise that our Country gets fined by the EU, millions of pounds if they do not quite “get things right”,  soon also there are to be changes, for our Country and Nation of ENGLAND is to be divided up into local Regions and then, the EU fines will have to be paid by those in the now EU Regions.
Speech:If we do not create now a society which chooses moderation, we will be forced into a society which faces deprivation”.   Sheer Rubbish and a desire to becoming a control freak.
Speech:  This cannot be done in a day, but Europe must forge ahead. Putting into place a European ecological taxation system and making the European greenhouse gas emissions trading scheme (ETS) set up in 2005 work are urgent challenges”.   This as we all know is a “Con” and a way of taking money off vulnerable people.   The planet is NOT saved by the Emission’s Trading Scheme, at all, for all its does is one Country pays for “nothingness” in return.  It allows the one country to give money to another Country for “points” for the once rich Country to cover their emission’s target set by foreigners in the EU.   Emissions continue to go up, but in another part of the World.
Speech:  “But the return to growth presupposes rediscovering trust, trust which was severely undermined by the economic crisis. And rightly so, since taxpayers have been called upon repeatedly to pay for the consequences of irresponsible behaviour or a lack of collective oversight”.   The question must be asked here, ‘just how much longer are they people going to pay’?    The people are getting at tad fed up of continually ‘paying’ when their money is being wasted, or they are losing their jobs and some, sadly, their homes yet still the EU gets paid billions.  Mad schemes like the (EU’S) Localism Bill and HS2, (from the EU’s TEN-T Policy), goes ahead, costing even more billions, but what will they do when the “penny” drops and the people no longer pay their taxes on anything?
Speech: “Even more seriously, the crisis revealed that the rules which we thought provided a solid basis for our currency were not sufficient. And I am fully aware of what monetary and financial stability represents for a country such as Germany, and rightly so”.   It could never withstand what has taken place, and because this Country has to also contribute to the EURO’s failure, the British might also go down-who will them help the Brits out then?
Speech:  “At the heart of everything that is at stake with governance, it would appear logical that the positions of President of the Euro-Group and Commission Vice-President for economic affairs should be held by the same individual, as was done for foreign policy with the High Representative.”   Ah!  So we are talking of some-one like the President of the United States of America eh?
Speech:  “In 1960, we had the will to create a common food and agriculture policy which today generates more jobs than the automobile sector.
We now need this same political will to promote our strategic industrial sectors”.  So, the EU did not learn with the destruction of our farming and fishing industries, it want to finish off the rest? Alleged leaders of the once sovereign Country’s may want this, but the people do not.  However, if it comes into being, there is absolutely no point in having any NATIONAL Parliaments at all.  The people simply cannot afford all the EU Regions and for Government to go on as they are at present, pretending to Govern.
Speech:  “I believe that Europe needs to be united to be strong, and that to be respected, we need a political Europe.”  I doubt you will even get one-at least, not with the UK in it.
Speech”  “The consequences of a failure of the EU to take control of its own security and defence would be heavy with consequences.
The EU has legitimacy in the area of defence, as it does in other areas. This is the belief that has led France, under President Sarkozy, to take up its full role within NATO”.    I have already written a great deal on Defence and what is happening in that area by the EU already. I make no further comments on here expect to say, it is and must remain the responsibility for their own National Security perhaps with the help of their true friends, and never, never allow other Country to know what their own Country has in man power or equipment, and our Nation in particular should always be “at the ready”.

Speech: intertwined with my comments: “There is one last challenge that needs to be taken up, one that is the keystone of all the others. That is the challenge of European democracy.
That of the trust of the people!” I comment only on matters here in the UK.  Most people in the UK no longer TRUST any British Politician, because right from the very first EU Treaty, they have been told lie after lie. ‘There will be no loss of essential sovereignty’. “Like the Beano Comic” etc    is ingrained in everyone’s mind. Every British Government has been “economical with the truth” where the EU is concerned. They pass all EU legislation as if it is their own idea.  (Such as the present Localism Bill and HS2).
Basically because continental Countries have been over-run in the war, they now have written constitution which can be changed quite easily.  The UK cannot just ‘change’ their Common Law Constitution easily or if at all, because each section of it-usually bound by Treaties, cannot be done.  If the Treaty and Act of Union 1688/9 is altered for instance, should Mr Salmond decide Scotland should break away from the United Kingdom, that would also affect the Act of Settlement which ‘nudges’ the Commonwealth., and so on.  Although Governments have simply ignored them, they obviously should not have done so.  The changes made to the House of Lords  may one day come back to haunt them, yet STILL they want to change the Lords yet again-it is like cutting off your own legs because you prefer artificial ones.
“That of the “desire to be together that I mentioned at the beginning of my speech”.  The desire is to go for holidays on those beautiful places, but not to be ‘together’ for always.  Even then, they are not “together” because the British people do not usually understand the language.
“Citizens need to be told the truth. The truth about where we are headed. The truth about what we are within this union. And about what we are not.”   Without doubt the people do need to be told the truth, so why on earth didn’t you say exactly where the EU is going while you have our attention Commissioner Barnier?  A missed opportunity.  A golden opportunity.   What do you think the reaction to the truth would have been?  You may never know now because the truth has never been told, has it?
“We are a continent where every people, every religion and every opinion is respectable and respected”.  And we are an Island Nation, yet any opinion the people might have here in the once free Country of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is ignored.  However, without our once sovereign Government having the ability to close our borders any longer, we are getting a tad full up and certainly the pockets are getting empty, so soon, we may not be able to afford to pay our Contributions to the EU, and soon, ‘er long, we will have to leave.
“And yet, we are not a single European people. We cannot be a European nation. There is no question of a federal state which would take the place of the nation states or the regions”.   YET!  Leave all that until we are out of the EU and FREE.
“Today, we include 27 peoples who express themselves in 23 official languages. We are 27 nations and 27 countries, all of which hold their differences, traditions and cultures close to their respective hearts”.  Instead of “embracing” that, our Government has dumbed down our children and instead of learning foreign languages, they can hardly speak properly in their own English Language
“And yet, these 27 nations have chosen to live and act together rather than to simply coexist beside each other. They have chosen to share many of their policies and voluntarily pool their sovereignty, simply to create European sovereignty”.  The people of this nation have certainly NOT chosen to ‘live and act together’, they never had the chance to.  Would perhaps you Sir, like to ask them now?  They most certainly have not chosen to share their policies and most certainly never would “pool their Sovereignty” whether temporarily of permanently.  The people have never been asked.  It is far too late to ask them now because according to their loyal and true Oaths of Allegiance to the British Crown and through the Crown to all the people in this land and further a field to all the Commonwealth, to violate that Oath of Allegiance is the greatest betrayal of all.  It must also be remembered that when a person is born here in the United Kingdom, from the moment anyone is born here, it is as if they have already said that Oath, for they have the protection of the Crown from that moment.  We can never be European citizens for we are an Island race, we fought to be free from foreign rule as did the proud nations before us, on the Continent.  If they chose to give up that freedom, that is up to them.  The British people have never given their consent to be ruled by foreigners-which is also contrary to their constitution- and they never will.
Speech :  We have five years before us. We do not have much more time to choose our destiny. Over the next five years, there will be presidential or legislative elections in almost all of the 27 EU countries. A new European Parliament will be elected in 2014. We will decide on the EU budgets and the common policies that this budget will have to fund for seven years”.   And we have a government that at this moment in time is putting EU legislation through Parliament, The Localism Bill which will try its best to divide-PERMANENTLY- the Nation and Country of ENGLAND into the 12 EU’s Regions.  Why exactly is a British Government doing that?  Why would they set about destroying their own Country?  Why another layer of Governance?  Is this the last Government we shall have in our Houses of Parliament?  With elected Mayors and a Cabinet in each Region plus everything that goes with that, we certainly will not require TWO FULL TO THE BRIM HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT.
Speech:  I appeal to the 27 Heads of State and Government and to President Herman van Rompuy. This unity is in their hands. There are valid reasons for making a new deal with the citizens of Europe for each of the challenges I mentioned”.  I do not think you will be asking us in the UK to fund anything for seven years.   Do you?   Unity is in the hands of the people, and the people are no longer going to remain “Spectators”. Ireland's prospective leader promises to reveal all on EU Bail Out deal.

There is one weapon the existing corrupted EU will find impossible to survive, that is the truth about its workings. It appears this process might be about to begin, with Enda Kerry, the certain next Irish Taoiseach, making the following commitments as reported in the Irish Independent this morning:

In an interview last night, Mr Kenny opened up a potentially significant new approach to the bank crisis, with possible political repercussions, when he said it would be his Government's intention to find out what went on and "who benefited on this".
He said he would have loved to have found out about these matters before now.
"I will do my damndest to make that happen. We will re-open and restore that. I think the people are entitled to know how their country has been run, or not run, as the case may be.
"And in respect of the banking inquiry, whatever has to be done, make the truth known to people.

For British readers, locked in the similarly corrupt grip of Westminster politicians, I recommend this comment from the Irish Times "Angry electorate coldly voted to liquidate Fianna Fáil" by Miriam Lord.

Perhaps in Britain's case the process will soon begin when Ghadaffi goes and the details of the Labour Party Leadership's dealings with that regime start to emerge!

Earlier posts on this blog touching upon 'truth' may be read from here.

The terrible truth behind Britain's election.

British politics has been corrupted and rotten for years. Nothing has changed with but one big exception, namely that the general public are finally glimpsing that basic truth. Nick Clegg, leader of the formerly minority Liberal Democrat Party has begun to summon the nerve and give a voice to the fact that the rock solid safe seats for either the Conservative or Labour Party has led to the corruption of our Parliament. A start but only a small one. These corrupt MPs with the aid of Clegg's LibDems have sold-out the powers of Parliament to the EU........ Why? The truth is , of course, that for a potential politician to join either the Tory or Labour Party lists as a potential constituency candidate they must first vow allegiance to that party and thereby set aside any moral judgement or scruple in therefater committing themselves to follow the party whips for the rest of their lives. They do this, presumably, as on the buggins turn result of our system they are eventually certain to gain power! Evidence of such total lack of decency or basic honesty abounds through their individual voting records, and their contributions to debates in Hansard. Payment for this lack of any principle is detailed in the expense account revelations from the Daily Telegraph which finally made public the financial costs to the taxpayers in the underwriting of such a dishonest arrangement. The resulting loss of our democracy, however, cannot be priced! In the nine days left before polling, consider the record of your Labour or Conservative candidate or query their true motives in entering/continuing in politics at this election, given the absence of detail in their parties' manifestos, their track records over recent years and our governance from abroad. How has any decent or upright man or woman the nerve to so degrade their own individual judgement? Their parties will not even go near offering an explanation of the huge debts, taxation and cuts the nation now faces! Labour and Conservative Candidates at this election have to be, deep within, absolutely rotten. No individual of character would seek to gain power in such a disgraced system, other than for motives of self-aggrandisement or self-enrichment. End of!

The final failure of twentieth century Anglo-Saxon market capitalism!

The Times reports on the failure of the Wall Street Madoff Fund in quite enough detail linked here. How far have we traveled from "Our word is our bond"? The rot began in the seventies when the oil companies' safety net arrangements which were designed to protect independent Libyan oil producers from the arm-twisting of Colonel Ghadaffi broke down and the shipping charters made by one such of these independents were re-negotiated in what became a forerunner to widespread re-negotiation of other types of contractual arrangements following the resultant massive rise in oil prices. Watching Jeff Randall's interview last evening on Sky News with the snake-like head of Barclays Bank I was reminded of another first-hand experience of the decline in standards and morals. In the early years of this century a family member returned to the UK to attend University. I forwarded funds to my Barclays account, barely used over many years, to draw upon to provide the necessities of student life. On arriving at the local branch I was shocked to learn the account had been closed and the transferred funds apparently had mysteriously disappeared with no notification sent back to my transmitting bank. I eventually had these funds returned but does this not speak volumes on the standards set at the top which verge upon the criminal but apparently percolate quite far down the organisational structure. Had I been the recipient of money from a third party I might never have learned of the account's closure and my consequent loss. Where next, as I quipped in a recent post, a knighthood these days seems to be carried as a badge of dishonour, it is truth and honour that has to be restored, but this blog has been stating that for years with no results - try typing "truth" in the search bar at the top of this blog! For once David Cameron in his speech yesterday to Reuters, here, seemed to be heading in a valid policy direction why not go the whole way and admit that we must return to the principle that "Our word is our bond" and even "a contract is a contract".

The State CANNOT Provide!

Surreal, as I pasted in the posting immediately below, was the description of one prime minister, (of a state which strictly speaking, but for the EU, would have split apart many months ago), who attended Friday's meeting of EU national leaders last friday. Surreal, indeed, as finally the lies by which West European leaders have conned their electorates into giving them the lifestyles they crave are seen to be the nonsensical impossibilities they always were.

Gathered together, in the vain hope, that by combining unfulfillable obligations they could somehow be met, the EU dream became exposed for the true pipe dream it always was. No leader attending seemed aware that every German working every hour that the planet's rotation supplied would ever produce wealth sufficient to pay anything other than a tiny percentage of the combined total of obligations run up in the false promises given out to the EU's citizens.

Britain's Prime Minister seems to be experiencing a Damascus Road Conversion this weekend, perhaps the nonsense in Brussels was the trigger, first having abandoned State Multiculturalism, now in the Sunday Telegraph actually admitting one obvious fact, that tax cuts in Britain are presently impossible. Well he his now heading towards the truth, but is still coming from the wrong direction - Tax cuts are impossible because present levels of spending are impossible - in fact he should now confront his electors with one stark fact, the headline of this posting - The STATE cannot provide!

Furthermore, whatever Germany does - The EU CANNOT Provide!

My generation has been unable to grasp this simple fact, because the opposite always seemed to be the case. The accumulated consequences of those decades of deceit are now before us. The younger generation must learn self-reliance and find income that does not depend on the state or the activities of the state or of regulations dreamt up by the state, nor by any transnational body masquerading as a lawfully empowered state. From self-reliance will come self-esteem and from that a decent society can be begun to be re-built.

Quantatitive Easing, which is the printing of money, only defers the inevitable and worsens the consequences when they finally arrive. Let me leave this contentious subject with one plain fact. In today's Britain you would better provide for the health of your family by investing in a very well equipped medecine cabinet and extensive first aid box. Soon the State will be unable to pay for the Doctors and Nurses whatever the lying promises of the proven opportunists in politics. The State CANNOT provide, quite simply because it has run out of tax money because it has destroyed the tax base! Gathering together in a frightened group in Brussels to dine well, even on a daily basis, cannot much longer hide that truth!

When Great Alfred lay on Athelney.....? An Anglo-Saxon message for the EU

When King Alfred the Great lay on the Isle of Athelney, the true forebears of the English, well knew the consequences and fearsome perils of paying the Danegeld. Would that our leaders of today were as wise, read this EU Observer report from yesterday, linked here.

Today, a grubby instrument of doubtful legality, (no, not the budget, although that will surely receive all the publicity) will doubtless be passed in the House of Commons by our money grabbing, maggot MPs, thus sealing the demise of our democracy, it being the first of what will inevitably become a river of orders in the form of non-negotiable statutes passed to us by the German controlled EU, in accordance with their remit to in future enforce Economic Governance across Europe, to which we will inevitably be subject, once they create the crisis that will force our weak rulers to sign up for the Euro.

After Jan and Robert Kilroy-Silk, I was the third party member of a political party called Veritas, meaning truth, formed to bring that stolen commodity back to the people of the British Isles. We were thwarted, partly by the mainstream media, to whom the truth remains anathema. After the budget today, and with other ongoing and unstoppable events, the bloody penury of the British People will be shouted across the headlines of this same media, driving home to the former nation its dreadful message of the daily purgatory of being penniless.

This blog, is not one of those that likes to revel in expletives. Down the many years of Ironies and Ironies Too the writer has tried to avoid the use of expleteives, but on this occasion, given that there will most likely never again be another opportunity, bloodlessly so to do, I believe the House of Commons should quite simply, today tell the EU, to Fuck Off!

A letter to all citizens of Europe

Amelia Boynton Robinson's Letter to Citizens of Europe: "This Could Be a Treaty of Death for Nations" 23 Mar 2008 March 20, 2008 (LPAC)-- Below is an open letter to citizens of the nations of Europe from American civil rights heroine and Vice Chairwoman of the Schiller Institute, Amelia Boynton Robinson. - This Could Be a Treaty of Death for Nations - March 20, 2008 It is very interesting and even fascinating to daydream (and sometimes in reality) to think of the growth of a family, from a couple, to many children, and from the one couple there are many and many generations throughout the world. And you love them, because they are your relatives, and take interest in them all, and we often speak of their successes. Then, why should any people be compelled to make war against their neighbors or friends and relations? As a member and co-founder of Schiller Institute, living to give the best future to the BüSo, the LaRouche Youth Movement, and all the youth of the world, I want peace for everyone. But can there be peace without justice? There is no justice where evil men burn their brains out, planning wars and strife, violating the very concept of a nation! Have you ever heard of the United States South, with its plantation sharecropper system, and our struggle to get people to register and vote throughout the United States? Have you ever heard of Bloody Sunday, on March 7, 1965 in Selma, Alabama, where people were beaten, and many lost their lives just because, when they reached voting age, they wanted to act as full citizens of their native country, the United States? Those are the very rights of man. Well, that experience should never be repeated again in any country or countries, in a civilized world. With the shedding of blood, with their sweat and tears, human beings have fought to erase the fine print and hidden illegal terms in any contract, constitution, treaty, or governing law that cannot easily be interpreted or understood by all, and which the feudal system of the Dark Age has fought against justice to return. I invite you to read my autobiography, Amelia Platts Boynton Robinson, Bridge Across Jordan, which now exists in German, Italian, and French. This book will give you a glimpse of what could happen, if you take your God-given right to national sovereignty for granted. The death penalty could be imposed upon one of your own, and he or she could rot in jail for years, while the law is being discussed by faceless bureaucrats. This Lisbon Treaty is a return to slavery, feudalism, and the plantation system: Demand a referendum in your country, now; otherwise, by then, complaining about it will be too late. It is time to raise the issue: Do you want to be slave countries, or free people? It is as you wish. It was Martin Luther King in his famous "I Have A Dream" speech on Aug. 28, 1963 in Washington, D.C., who reminded the world that all men are created equal, and that we are all God's children. Then, let us, all over the world, make his dream come true. He gave his life for this truth: Let us give our love, truth, and justice throughout the world. Wherever you see young people with tables of literature, braving the hot or cold weather, or where they have meetings, please pay special attention: It could save you from a disaster, or it could cause us to stop, think, and discuss before your treaty becomes a Treaty of the Death of Freedom. I invite you to make a change in the respect for your national constitutions that are being violated, even in your capitals. Cleaning up a constitution can only be accomplished when the citizens living under it fight for that right, and ensure that if it is to be changed, let the citizens of that sovereign country make the changes, not an army of politicians from other countries, who would rob you of your sovereignty, laws, constitution, and your way of life. Constitutions see that every citizen has the same protections from birth to death, letting no committee or unelected bureaucrat make the laws of your nation. Be proud of who you are, build your nation, and offer help to your neighbors, in the solid tradition your forefathers handed down to you. In this, no country small or large has supremacy over any other, but all are equal in what they have to give to humanity. How would you or your children feel, knowing that you have gone to war with your neighbor, because the treaty demands it, or if your whole country is put under a dictatorship that you cannot refuse, or you're compelled to go along or approve of the death penalty of someone, who might be one of your citizens, or even of your family. You can only blame yourselves for not fighting for your sovereign country, or forever blame yourselves for losing your rights as a nation, to become a part of the plantation system under the fascist Lisbon Treaty. My spirit is with you in your struggle, Amelia Boynton Robinson

Blair/Brown How Britain's decency was sold out by New Labour

My blogs Ironies and this, its successor, Ironies Too over more than ten years covered in detail the rape of Britain by New Labour. Some of the detail is now starting to emerge, so to hopefully complete this sick story and record that New Labour death and disgrace, I will include links as the truth finally emerges.

To begin these links, a report in the Daily Telegraph this morning and another in The Independent of yesterday. I will provide links as appropriate to the Ironies and Ironies Too posts of the time as detail is revealed, hopefully the truth on Dr Kelly will be one such item!

"The Slog" finally appreciates the truth behind the EU!

A humourous and entertaining blog titled The Slog, well written by someone I do not know called John Ward, has always been informative, but to my mind had a tendency to be somewhat forgiving towards the obvious deviant direction of travel of the European Union.

The Greek default seems to have finally brought the true EU horror home to this blogger and summer resident of France, this weekend his contributions have been quite staggering even to me, and his own mounting disgust ever more clearly evident. Finally, thinking men and women, such as Mr Ward, are having the truth confront them full on, witness the resignation call in the brief video below this!

AT LAST - one serving Conservative MP has finally called for the removal from office of the EU fanatical, Ken Clarke, decades long anti-democrat and now Justice Secretary.

Linked here is the most recent posting from John Ward of The Slog, titled:

THINK NOT WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR THE EUROPEAN UNION….

…..BUT RATHER THINK ABOUT WHAT IT’S DOING TO YOU

"Whatever they can get away with"

The following quotes come from the head of the West Yorkshire Police on last night's Panorama programme when speaking of the low-lives around Karen Matthews: "They aren't socialised in the way that society is generally socialised in terms of norms of behaviour."

He said their normal standard of behaviour was "whatever they could get away with".

Remind one of another group of low-lives presently in charge of the nation's misfortunes?

For me the present Cabinet of this dreadful Government immediately come to mind.

Elsewhere Karen Matthews who kidnapped her own daughter hoping to pocket any reward offered for her being found has been described as pure evil, a description perhaps a little harsh for the Prime Minister who leads the bunch of slippery chancers in the Cabinet, but if not "pure evil" to account for his actions - just what does motivate him in his vicious and ongoing destruction of the nation?

A good article about the ingrained lying of Cabinet Ministers by Jeff Randall is in the Daily Telegraph this morning, linked here. (My comment regarding the error of yesterday's interest cuts and the likely cost has apparently been rejected for the attached Comment Thread, an increasingly frequent occurrence on the Telegraph site, a similar aversion to the truth there I fear!)

Coalition seem unaware of Tsunami heading towards them

The Guardian, in its report of the defeat of the Government over the seven year EU budget up to the year 2020 last evening, makes this statement:

Downing Street moved to reach out to the rebels by dispatching William Hague to declare that the government would "take note" after 51 rebel Tories – plus two tellers – joined forces with Labour to defeat the government by 307 votes to 294, a majority of 13.

The topic on which the Coalition Government was defeated was the main plank of successive governments' foreign and economic policies for over forty years. Those policies have led the nation to bankruptcy, social collapse and mass pillaging of the country's main assets, the proceeds of which have been delivered overseas.

The intention of the Government had it won last evening's vote was for the taxpayers of this nation to continue to pay increasing danegeld to the EU up to and including the year 2020.

A truth and reconciliation process always looked necessary for the country once it had extricated itself from the nightmare in which it is now entwined in the EU.

Coalition Cabinet Ministers should heed the voices of the elected representatives of the people of Britain, who after years of submission have finally broken the shackles of whipped fear and favour and spoken loudly for the oppressed.

Procedures for High Treason, on which I posted yesterday, would make a "truth and reconciliation procedure" seem very moderate in light of all that appears to remain uncovered in so far as the EU and its imposition upon this country is concerned!

Treasures from threads - number fifty-seven

In response to a small article in the Daily Telegraph extolling Cameron's ludicrous Big Society comes this accurate condemnation of all sitting MPs:

We don't want to play in Cameron’s idea of a BIG SOCIETY Benedict, because it is held in the European Union's Back -Yard.

Mr Cameron continues to give the money from our vast CUTS, our loss of jobs, our homes, to the European Union (How many billions is it?) and what I feel is the most disgusting matter of all, he continues to pay millions all be-it about £4-£5 millions to the European Union’s Defence Agency, while our forces in Afghanistan are being killed, some through lack of protective gear, so he knows exactly what he can do with his Big Society. May God forgive him and ALL his entourage for what they are doing to us-all the trusting people and to his and OUR Country?

What is being done is evil, for none have ever had the guts to tell the truth of what the EU is all about, right from the beginning it was a load of lies. What is going through Parliament at present, the Localism Bill, the break-up of the NHS which has to be done so that eventually we join the Euro, if it hasn’t gone bust. No wonder the students protested, for the English Students are being discriminated against for UK Ministers say the current position is particularly unfair because the EU rules do not apply within states”. There seems to be nothing though, to stop a sovereign British Government from making sure the English students have exactly the same financial equality (advantage) as the other nations and country’s in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and for those from other Countries. So, I am now looking at the Laws regarding 'Discrimination of Nationality' and also 'Non-discrimination and equal opportunities for all in the EU', and I mustn't forget the new "Equality Act " either.

One thing I can tell all of YOU in Parliament though is, "That none of what YOU think the EU will eventually turn out to be-wont. You will find that you have been fooled in exactly the same way YOU have fooled the people of this Country that were foolish enough to elect you. Most think all three political Parties are the same. By the time truth dawns on you-if you recognise it- it will be too late to pull back from the edge of the abyss you are heading for.

But remember this, the people will not continue to contribute financially to the EU, because it may be seen that they are not being true to their Oaths of Allegiance to their British Crown and through the Crown to their Country. The people have never, ever agreed to be governed by foreigners for it is contrary to their Constitution.

Anti-EU Meeting in London

I have received the following e-mail flyer regarding a meeting to be held in London on 30th January, further information and background is available from here.
Action Now
London 30th January 2007
Third meeting
Mobilisation of people on the ground:
Coordinated campaigns to fight the EU every day.
As the entire EU project is illegal in this country, it is being implemented by subversion throughout Britain; in our democracy, in the leaderships of the big parties, in the NHS, in local and national government, councils and schools. To halt this decline we all need to take effective and coordinated ACTION NOW.
But there is much more operating behind the scenes, and it is only when you understand these hidden mechanisms that the EU can be fought with success. By meeting to understand the truth about the EU subversion within the UK, coupled with open discussion and plans of action, you will be equipped to turn the tide.
We believe we have identified the most powerful anti-EU campaigns that we, the grass roots, can mount ourselves as individuals, groups of people, or political party branches.
We are distributing this email widely, to give coordinated direction so these campaigns have maximum effect. Please pass it on to anyone who will fight the EU dictatorship.
On Tuesday 30th January at 6.30pm we are running an evening of talks and workshops on how to make these campaigns work. If you wish to attend, please tell us so we know the numbers in advance,

Bill of Rights

<>The final paragraph from the Notice quoted below states the following: "Government-sponsored attempts to pervert our system of justice; to take our money out of our pockets and to turn this country into a dictatorship controlled by people who simply do not know how to tell the truth - are to be brought face to face with the open resistance of a pensioner and your support is required."

Notice of Event: Bill of Rights Hearing in Worcester

Fownes Hotel, Worcester

Robin Decrittenden vs. Worcester City Council

Appeal No. WC 49.

18th November 2005 11am

"£1,000,000,000 a year revenue from Parking Fines under threat"

This notice is to all supporters, contacts and interested parties and is to inform you that on 18th November 2005 at 11am at the Fownes Hotel in Worcester a National Parking Adjudication Service hearing is to take place between Robin Decrittenden and Worcester City Council.

The hearing will be the first public airing of the use of the Bill of Rights Defence against a Penalty Charge Notice issued, in this instance, under Worcester City Council's decriminalised parking enforcement regime.

The hearing is open to the public and any interested parties are requested to attend the venue. A large public room has been reserved for the hearing.

The potential of the case is that it could expose the Government and Local Authorities operating decriminalised parking enforcement regimes as acting unlawfully. The consequence could be that they have no legal authority to impose 'fines' thereby threatening a massive source of revenue which is now approaching £1,000,000,000 per annum!

Please no banners, placards or flags. Please circulate amongst your contacts and organisation.

Robin Decrittenden states,"The purpose of this challenge is to put the politicians back in their kennels by requiring them to obey the law that regulates Parliament itself."

Metric Martyrs Campaign Director, Neil Herron states, "This is the first head on conflict exposing the highly suspect Metric Martyrs Judgment. If the Judgment is correct then decriminalised parking fines cannot be levied. Alternatively, the Metric Martyrs were convicted and are innocent."

Venue is 'Fownes Hotel', City Walls Road, Worcester (telephone number 01905-613151) and the time is 11.00 am. To view a map of the hotel and the nearest train station click here

Overview of the Case:

1. The Declaration and Bill of Rights (1688/89) provide the very particular legal requirement that fines and forfeitures can be imposed on individual people only after conviction – and any conviction requires the full involvement of a Court of Law.

The Declaration & Bill of Rights do not recognize any difference between Civil and Criminal matters: The rules apply to both parts of the law.

2. The Judgment given in the Metric Martyrs Case of 2002 provides that the terms of the Bill of Rights may not be changed or removed by anything other than very specific wording - and that all/any such wording must be contained within the text of any later legislation.

3. The Road Traffic Act of 1991 attempts to assert that Courts of Law are not required to consider questions relating to the Parking Fines that are now being imposed by local authorities which have decided to join themselves to a Government-sponsored scheme that is known as ‘de-criminalised parking’.

The Road Traffic Act of 1991 has not changed or removed the provisions of the Bill of Rights, in accordance with the terms of the Judgment provided in the Metric Martyrs Case, and as a consequence the law says that the Road Traffic Act of 1991 is not a law at all.

4. Under the provisions of ‘de-criminalised parking’ motorists are now being required to take their parking-ticket appeals to the authority that actually issued the ticket – and then on to an allegedly independent Parking Adjudication Service that is known as NPAS.

5. NPAS receives all of its funding from the local authorities which are issuing the tickets that are being appealed and funding is provided to NPAS at the rate of 60 pence per parking-ticket issued. It is obvious that it must be in the interests of NPAS to make quite sure that the paying Councils are given full support during all processes of dealing with the appeals that are made by members of the public.

The ‘system’ itself provides that there can be no true independence within the work of NPAS, because the existence of NPAS is absolutely dependent on the goodwill of the local authorities which are paying the wages of the NPAS staff.

There is no provision made for the work of NPAS to be scrutinized by any outside body, and the NPAS failure to control the unlawful activities of the local Councils that have joined the scheme becomes increasingly apparent.

In Sunderland and the North-East alone, millions of pounds are now due to be refunded to members of the public, because of Council failures to keep to the rules – and it is VERY significant that not one of these Council failures has been exposed by NPAS!

6. On 18th November, 2005, at 11.00 am, an NPAS tribunal sitting at Fownes Hotel in Worcester will hear Appeal No. WC 49.

This Appeal is based entirely upon a direct challenge to the legality of the Road Traffic Act of 1991, when measured against the very specific legal requirements of the Declaration & Bill of Rights.

7. Government-sponsored attempts to pervert our system of justice; to take our money out of our pockets and to turn this country into a dictatorship controlled by people who simply do not know how to tell the truth - are to be brought face to face with the open resistance of a pensioner and your support is required –

UK Parliament debate on the EU Fiscal Treaty

The debate opened at 12:51 today and was a very rare Emergency Debate approved by the Speaker under Standing Order 24 moved by Bill Cash.

A feel for the grave emergency represented by this Non EU Treaty has at least been recognised in one part of the Palace of Westminster! Not so for the opposition, whose benches were virtually deserted throughout.

The Hansard report has now started to appear and I will append my own notes recorded as the debate proceeded with links to that record as the evening progresses. It begins from here.

Bill Cash did his usual accomplished job of pointing out the dangers and legal pitfalls represented by the Treaty, planned to be signed by only 25 of the present EU member states, thereby not (yet) a full EU Treaty!  The most startling revelation for me was the fact that the Foreign Secretary William Hague, in spite of having been urged to appear before Cash's European Scrutiny Committee, has refused do to do, and is not scheduled to appear until the end of March when it will be too late. A typically arrogant thumbing of the nose to democracy by this increasingly irritating non-entity, who has amazingly managed to make his two immediate predecessors appear vaguely competent!

Denis Macshane, unusually in my view made a good contribution to the debate. This passage seemed to me particularly effective:

Let us be clear: the Commission is not involved in this. The European technocracy and bureaucrats are not involved in this; they are utterly sidelined. This is about the raw politics of anger in Germany against Greece, and the raw politics in Greece against Germany. It is also about the raw politics of the Conservative party in this House, some of whose members rightly feel that all the pledges made by their leader, now the Prime Minister, on referendums, renegotiation and repatriation have not in any way been delivered. That is what is causing upset and concern in the House of Commons. I am sure that it was also raw politics in Ireland that led the Taoiseach to agree to the referendum there. We know that Monsieur Hollande has said that, if elected, he will renegotiate the treaty. We also know that Mr Rajoy, the new conservative leader in Spain, has said that he will not implement a Merkozy-type dose, because Spain could not take it.
We need a new approach in Europe, and in this country. I would have no problem if, after 15 years of wallowing in Euroscepticism, the Conservative party rejoined the real European world. I would like to see Conservative MEPs sitting with other centre-right MEPs, precisely to create the links that the hon. Member for South Northamptonshire mentioned. We need more engagement, and not in order to join some Euro-federalist nirvana—that is not on offer at the moment. We are living in not a two-tiered Europe but a multi-tiered Europe, and we have to be part of it. We are not at the moment, but I hope that the Government can change their course before it is too late.

Also from Labour Rhonda, Chris Bryant was impressive. Some quotes:

It is a shame that the hon. Member for South Northamptonshire (Andrea Leadsom) is no longer in her place. I gather she is often referred to nowadays as the new iron lady—although I do not know who will get an Oscar for playing her in the future. I profoundly disagree with her that a multi-tier Europe is a good idea. During my four and a half seconds as Minister for Europe the BRIC economies—Brazil, Russia, India and China, and for that matter, Mexico—repeatedly told me, “It is essential that we know that we are dealing with a single market.” If we decide to cut up the single market, with lots of different tiers of different elements of legislative proposals, it will do us damage with the growing economies of the world. China is not interested in dealing with 27 different countries in Europe; it is interested in doing business in Europe. If it is going to be more difficult to do business in Europe, it will do business elsewhere—and we will have cut off our nose to spite our face.
I wholeheartedly agree with the hon. Member for Stone (Mr Cash) about the danger of technocratic Governments being imposed on other European countries. There has always been an element of democratic deficit within the European Union. In a sense, it is almost inevitable—unless we choose to elect a single President and Government of Europe, to which I would be wholeheartedly opposed because I do not think that there is a single people of Europe.
Undoubtedly the speech of the day came from Conservative MP for Wokingham John Redwood, which I thus quote in full. It appears in the Hansard report from 2:07 pm:

This debate is about the future of democracy itself. There can be no more important issue. We are considering a draft treaty that presumes to take substantial powers of decision over how much a country can spend, how much a country can tax and how much a country can borrow from the democratic choices of the member state to a centrally imposed system, which it is hoped will make the euro work better. This matter is of vital importance to the United Kingdom because we wish our neighbours to live in democratic prosperity for their own sakes, because we wish to trade with them successfully and because we wish to make sure that there is no danger whatever that our cherished freedoms and independence as a member state that has deliberately kept out of the euro could in any way be damaged by this treaty, which presumes to use European Union institutions to enforce a non-European institution will.

The peoples of western Europe are right to be mightily worried about the bad state of health of their respective democracies where they have adopted the euro. We see daily on our televisions or hear reported on our radios dreadful scenes from Greece, Spain and Italy, which are struggling with the common economic discipline and policy being imposed today. The German-led new treaty says that such discipline is not strong enough, that there needs to be more mutually assured deflation and that there needs to be a madness imposed on these countries to try to see whether the euro will work.

Ministers rightly say that they must not say anything in public or be seen to do anything in public that makes the difficulties of the euro area worse. I fully endorse that approach. They should never normally comment on the euro, because it is too dangerous, it is too difficult and it is up to those in the euro to say what they wish about how their currency is developing. But how it develops is of grave interest to us, so I urge my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister to ensure that, in private, when he is round the table, as he will be, with all the other leaders and with a right to a view, he speaks truth to their impotence. He should say to those assembled leaders struggling to get a grip on their recalcitrant economies and some stability into their very unstable currency, “This is not working.” He should tell them that, in truth, the treaty before us this afternoon cannot conceivably make the euro work. Other things can help to ease the pain of the euro, and in another debate we could discuss many other policies that could pull off the trick of getting many countries through and the euro out the other side, but this treaty is not the way to do it.

This treaty is deeply offensive to many democratic peoples in the countries of western Europe that will face it. It reinforces a German view of how to make the economies of western Europe work that clearly is not working. If part of the medicine for a country that has borrowed too much is to spend less and borrow less in the public sector—that can be the right approach, and I can think of countries where that could apply—at the same time a series of policies have to be adopted to promote growth in the private sector, so that there is some hope, there are some new jobs and there could be new tax revenue coming in.

Where the EU is proposing tax rises, it needs tax reductions on enterprise, business and success. Where it is proposing a bigger monetary straitjacket, it needs monetary ease. It is now creating a very big monetary easing across the eurozone as a whole by tipping trillions of printed money into the system to try to make it work, but that new money cannot possibly help Greece or Portugal, because they have frozen and damaged banks, they are under the austerity cosh, and representatives of the European Union are going in and treating them as if they are damaged economies that cannot conceivably pull through.

The euro scheme is damaging the confidence that Greece and Portugal need in order to see light at the end of the tunnel; it is putting people off investing there. Why would someone go to Greece to invest through euros, if they think that it may be driven out of the currency and forced into a big devaluation? Why would they seek to do business in Greece when the banks are frozen and they are not benefiting from the liquidity injection that is helping the corporate bond market and the Government bond market, temporarily, in Italy and in Spain?

Above all, our Prime Minister has to secure and protect the British interest. We in this House should be very proud of what our predecessors created, obtaining control over how much is raised in taxation, how much is spent and how much this country borrows and prints. We are rightly out of the euro, because those in it cannot conceivably maintain democratic control over those issues. I am grateful to my hon. Friend the Member for Stone (Mr Cash) for raising this issue today before the summit, but we are worried that—inadvertently, I am sure—the Government might get us dragged into much greater supervision of our economy by the European Union, in a way that signs us up to the very mad policies that we are rightly warning them cannot conceivably work.

Europe is at risk: jobs are being destroyed; economies are being gravely damaged; the people are on the streets; and the main political parties in these European countries are signing up to exactly same policy, so even where a general election takes place the popular will is thwarted, as people do not have a proper choice if they stick to the main parties. In one or two countries Governments are even being changed by the European elite without a single vote being cast and without the democratic view of the people and their parties being consulted. Surely everyone in this House is ashamed of that. Surely we all unite in saying that the thing that brings us together is our belief in the power of the ballot box, the voice of the elected representative and the right of people to choose and to say that a policy is failing. We are told by the European establishment that only its policy can work. There is no evidence whatsoever that the policy is working, but there is massive evidence of the damage it is doing.

The final point I would like to highlight from the debate was made by Jacob Rees-Mogg with the important and concise penultimate contribution to the timed out debate from Richard Drax,  herewith:

....a key part of the treaty may already be in breach of European Union law. I refer hon. Members to article 8, which states:

“If the European Commission, after having given the Contracting Party concerned the opportunity to submit its observations, concludes in its report that such Contracting Party has failed to comply with Article 3(2), the matter will be brought to the Court of Justice of the European Union by one or more Contracting Parties.”

What that says is that the European Commission may end up enforcing requirements under the stability pact in direct contradiction of TFEU—the treaty on the functioning of the European Union—126(10).....

A further aspect of the treaty concerns me. Article 16 says that the treaty will be rolled into the TFEU within five years, so it will become part of the whole package of European Union law within five years. It is currently thought, though others may think differently, that it would not have been possible for this treaty to be brought in under enhanced co-operation. However, there is a school of thought that maintains that the ESM treaty which is awaiting ratification by Parliament would allow enhanced co-operation to be used, in which case this treaty could be rolled into the European Union’s treaties without the say-so of the House, under enhanced co-operation. We should be deeply concerned about that, not least—going back to article 8—because it refers to how countries may be fined...

3.27 pm
Richard Drax (South Dorset) (Con):

I pay tribute to my hon. Friend the Member for Stone (Mr Cash) for securing the debate. He stands up for everything in which I and a lot of Members on both sides of the House believe.

I simply do not understand why we all look at this huge abyss, this black hole, this legal and financial federalist nightmare, yet go on pouring billions of euros into it in the hope that it will somehow recover. It will not. The political elite in the entire eurozone are betraying the very people they say they represent.

We are going to have tears over this. We have, unfortunately, already had riots in Greece: God forbid that we have riots in this country one day when the people wake up to realise that we have been, dare I say it, disingenuous—I will not say untruthful because I am not allowed to use that word in this House—to our electorate. We have to be truthful, and we have to base our politics on common sense and the law. I want us to have jobs, growth, wealth and mobility, but we will not get them under the current EU federalist state. We must renegotiate and start talking. I urge those on the Front Bench, please, for our party and our country, to say at the meeting, “Enough is enough: let’s sit down and find a more common-sense approach for the future.”

Germany owns Ireland AND the UK

I quote below an interesting extract from a column in the Irish Independent by Davi McWilliams, linked here:

The other day I met a German radio presenter from ARD, the German public radio station. I've known her for quite a while -- since a brief spell working on the German economy in the 1990s for an investment bank. She, like many other foreign correspondents, has been sent to Ireland to see what is going on here.

After a while, I wondered why she hadn't asked me anything about the Government, or the prospect of an election or what new political constellation might emerge here. She joked and in an exaggerated German accent laughed: "David, it doesn't matter who your next prime minister is, he will have no power -- we own you now, and he will do what we tell him."

The problem is that the joke is on us. She touched on the nub of the issue: the Irish elite is prepared to sell the sovereignty of this country to protect the likes of Roman Abramovich and other vulture investors who bought up third-rate Irish banking debt at a discount and are hoping to get paid in full.

Finally the truth as to why we have been pushed into the EU is slowly coming out, just at the moment when the Conservative Party at its non-Conference is being serrupticiously put to sleep, and simultaneously with the deliberately contrived financial crisis further seeming to reduce our potential for freedom of independent action! Only by removing ourselves from the EU can we hope to weather this crisis without the necessity of foreign totalitarian control!

Probe the underpinnings before accepting EU Firewall headline number

Bloomberg TV is reporting from Copenhagen that the Euro fire wall will be €934 Billion, a suspiciously precise figure, especially given the Finnish Finance Minister's remarks earlier, that anything over €800 billion would be a struggle for his nation.

FXStreet is using that number as its own forecast, linked here. That figure is also used by the Irish Times quoting the Austrian Finance Minister, read here.

The crucial point which will probably only truly sink in as next week advances, is that all these statements come from individual who hold positions which have made a mockery of both truth and economic statistics since May 2010. Nothing they can erect will either work or restore their totally lost integrity!
