A Worrying Week for the Western World

The USA which has led the West for decades is in deep debt and deeper political crisis read here.

Italy faces a vote of no confidence in its Government.

Britain's oldest political party has been abandoned by its natural supporters and at a demonstration against the party at its annual conference has appeared to be filtering the live news feed to its once respected state broadcasting corporation, the BBC.

Germany lacks a government following an election campaign where the true economic issues facing the Euro and thus the EU were obscured from the voters. Thereby neutering the entire EU from confronting the problems now facing Greece, Portugal, Cyprus, Italy, Spain and others.

Greece has arrested democratically elected MPs for belonging to a criminal organisation which appears to refer to the political party attaining recent popular electoral success.

Questions for the UK Labour Party

A man has land he can work to feed his family, should he stay abed, will not his family go hungry or starve?

A man has a good harvest but the price of a loaf is less than his costs, will he sell his excess for a loss?

Energy has a cost, regardless of its source, can it realistically be sold at less than that cost. Were the government fund those losses, from whence will they obtain the funds?

Europe threatened with German control for the 3rd time in 100years

The German election result is, quite frankly, a disaster for Europe.

The fact that less than five per cent of German voters would vote for an alternative to Merkel's policies in recent years is chilling. That fact was announced in the following report on the official election result by Deutsche Welle:

The euroskeptic Alternative for Germany (AfD) party took 4.7 percent, meaning that like the FDP, they fell short of the 5 percent hurdle

The Euro will march on to the added misery of all in the Eurozone but also others in the EU.

Blair/Brown How Britain's decency was sold out by New Labour

My blogs Ironies and this, its successor, Ironies Too over more than ten years covered in detail the rape of Britain by New Labour. Some of the detail is now starting to emerge, so to hopefully complete this sick story and record that New Labour death and disgrace, I will include links as the truth finally emerges.

To begin these links, a report in the Daily Telegraph this morning and another in The Independent of yesterday. I will provide links as appropriate to the Ironies and Ironies Too posts of the time as detail is revealed, hopefully the truth on Dr Kelly will be one such item!
