"We don't want to have the euro area exploding without reason." Juncker

RTE in Ireland picks up the latest on the Euro meeting that never was, with the following extraordinary quote from Jean-Claude Juncker, Head of the EuroGroup and PM of Luxembourg, linked here, from which comes this quote:

'We have not been discussing the exit of Greece from the euro area. This is a stupid idea. It is in no way - it is an avenue we would never take,' Mr Juncker told reporters.

'We don't want to have the euro area exploding without reason."

The Daily Telegraph, now also picks up on this story which this blog has been following since first light this morning, read here, from which comes this further nonsense:

The secrecy, vehement denials and nervous market reaction underlined sensitivities to even the possibility of a Greek exit from the single currency. Many economists believe that may be the only way to return the troubled nation to growth – enabling it to repay its debts at a sharply reduced rate – but doing so would be massively complex in practice and would precipitate the biggest political crisis the EU has faced in decades.

Surely what is now happening in Greece, Ireland, Portugal and little doubt soon to be followed by Spain, the crude attempts to overpower the democratic choice of the people of Finland, the coercion involved in extracting money from Britain in its own dire economic straits, to save a currency to which we do not even belong - Surely all this gives sufficient cause and reasons to explode the Euro Currency.

The sooner the better, for its eventual demise, as all can surely now see is a foregone conclusion!

Let it happen on 9th May, the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, so-called Europe Day when a new start in building a decent unity for Europeans can begin, surely 61 years of lies and deceit is enough?
