Is the EU behind state enforcement of Church same sex marriages?

Readers on both sides of the English Channel will find their newspaper headlines dominated by headlines regarding their supposed national governments, one socialist the other a coalition of Conservatives and Liberal Democrats, about to legislate to enforce churches, (voluntary groupings of peoples with a common faith,) to marry people of the same sex within their supposedly non-state controlled environs and orthodoxy!

The Guardian report is linked here, while Le Figaro headline is "Mobilisation against gay marriage strengthens".

Can more people not now realise that the EU is not an incidental in life, it is behind almost everything that takes place in our societies, generally acting solely in the interests of the select and mainly hidden few?

Just like Smoking Bans, pointless High-Speed Trains etc, gay marriage is all part of the stealth programme of EU cultural harmonisation.

Get used to it or get out - I'm for getting out.

I have thought for some time that the EU may be behind the move to force Church same sex marriages. Where is the proof. Will it apply to Moslem gay marriages or are only Christians singled out for this treatment?
