Germany Set to Steal the Future Sunshine of France.

Just as Britain has been exploited for its future wind, so too now is France about to be pillaged of its sunshine and vast swathes of its arable land laid to glass.

Were the French to dedicate their land to solar panels instead of livestock or crops none could complain, but as in the case of Britain's onshore and offshore wind resources - German minds and deviousness seem busily at work behind the costly and ridiculous plans.

The European Commission yesterday approved the imposition of emergency import duties on Chinese solar panels, most likely the opening shot in what may turn out to be a vicious and protracted trade war. Read one report of that decision from here. There can be only one cause for the imposition of such import duties, that being cost! Quite simply they are cheaper! The buyers of the panels are being taxed, which cost will be passed to electricity users in the years ahead, just as is the case with British wind farms!

Why should French electricity consumers be forced to buy higher than market priced panels from Germany, sacrifice arable land for generations ahead and commit to pay higher than necessary electricity charges for the foreseeable future? All of this happening right now, just as Chines import tariffs are imposed, one example is this week being discussed in a neighbouring commune to mine, Ronsenac in the Charente, (my own commune already has its own, smaller such facility) to spread in their case over an area of 70 hectares, that being 172.9 acres?

There is one answer to those questions and one answer only - the EU!

But stating that, clouds what the EU has today become, a means of extending German control over the European land mass, not on this occasion for territorial gain as so often in the past, but for absolute economic control already seen clearly across the UK in the actual ownership of vast assets, also of course through the austerity programmes in Ireland, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Cyprus and Italy but now too, as this example shows, just now getting underway in France. Greed for money and control from Germany now seem to have become the principle, (almost sole,) driving forces of the European Union, and nothing, not even the risk of a trade war with China, seems capable of stopping it.

Only by ending this EU Project can the nations of Europe resume their role of protecting their citizens though tried and tested means of national sovereignty and democracy. If their national governments remain unprepared to act in their protection, where now may the citizens of Europe look for redress from the constant ripping off through hidden taxes and straightforward economic extortion daily obviously underway?

The EU - destroying democracy on funding from the USA and IMF

The following came in a speech from John Redwood MP in the same Parliament where onceWestern Europe's last bastion of democracy was based. Today that same democracy is under threat from the EU whilst being financed from the IMF and the USA:

"This is not only an economic crisis, this is not only a banking crisis, this is not only a currency crisis, but it is also now a crisis of democracy ... We see in some of these countries now that the electorates do not choose the Government; the European Union’s senior players choose the Government. We see in some of these countries that the electorate change the Government but they do not change the policy. The new Government have to pledge to follow exactly the same policy, which does not work, in order to get elected and to be acceptable to the European Union, in order to carry on drawing down the subsidies and loans from within the European Union that have to be on offer to try to make the system operate to some extent."

Modifying the Sherman Antitrust Act (1890) to prohibit conspiratorial cabals such as the EU and G20

National parliaments must move to prohibit any further moves towards exterior multinational governance. The trampling over of national democracy mainly for the permanent perpetuation of the powers of the present poltical incumbents, as in the secret meetings of the EU Council of the Heads of Government must be urgently halted. The end result with the removal of two democratically elected national governments,(and interference in the general elections of others) are now clear for the world to see from the dreadful events of 2011 within the EU.

I have for the purpose of this proposal modified the first two sections of the Sherman Antitrust Act passed by the US Congress in 1890, to illustrate what could be possible. The original Sherman Act may be read from here. My idea for national parliamentary enactment across the EU and within the nations whose leaders conspire against their citizens within the G20 and its sister organisations are as follows:

Section 1. International Treaties, etc., in restraint of national parliamentary authority illegal; penalty

Every arrangement, combination in the form of treaty or otherwise, orconspiracy, in restraint of national parliamentary authority or commerce among the several Member States forming the European Union or G20, or with other foreign nations, is declared to be illegal. Every person who shall make any contract, arrangement or treaty provision or engage in any combination or conspiracy hereby declared to be illegal shall be deemed guilty of a felony, and, on conviction thereof, shall be prohibited from Parliament for his lifetime and the political party to which he belongs be punished by fine not exceeding £***.

Section 2. Abnegation of national parliamentary sovereignty illegal; penalty

This short section would prohibit any abnegation of national sovereignty by political parties or individuals and establish the penalties for felonies.

In the case of the UK, a thorough purging of the upper ranks of the civil service and root and branch reform of its procedures and governance will also be required, as I have explained in earlier postings on this blog. Penalties to be exacted on those who have already broken our constitution in pushing through the existing non-constitutional EU Treaties, particularly John Major, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown with their accomplices, also need covering in any legislation.

Social media should be mobilised beginning with this New Year to make all aware of the massive conspiracy that has been underway across the West, particularly such that a campaign for a restoration of democratic governance can become the main factor in the elections in France and the USA this year and in Germany in 2013. Faced with the potential loss of power, it will be amazing what could now be possible.

Greek commitments are to whom and by what rights?

The statement by two apponited EU officials, just released, sums up the contempt for democracy widespread throughout the Eurozone. It may be read in full in pdf format from here, but this sentence states it all:

We fully trust that Greece will honour the commitments undertaken in relation to the euro area and the international community. President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy and President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso

As elsewhere within Europe, the Greek Parliament was elected by the people of Greece to represent the interests of the people of Greece alone. If the Greek people determine by referendum or otherwise, that they see their interests as being different to whatever the Greek politicians have earlier indicated that they might support, then such commitments cannot be binding upon the Greek Nation!

Fear from Germany

The following highly topical quote is from an essay in this week's Der Spiegel magazine by Dirk Kurbjuweit, linked here.

....democracy has lost its dignity. And that is dangerous. The foundation of any dictatorship is the tacit or open threat of violence against citizens. Their fear supports the system. The basis of democracy is respect among citizens. Their approval supports the system. If this approval disappears, democracy crumbles.

These EU uniformed cloned cops, are there to scare us witless, they can do so as they wish, because our democracy HAS been stolen and destroyed! Our national politicians are no longer responsible to us and we do not know who really controls the evil EU empire that has deliberately brought all this to reality!

700 years of democracy destroyed by 8 High Criminals

The comment by William Rees-Mogg in today's Times is a first rate summation of the dreadful outrage perpetrated on Parliament and the British people. It is linked here, absolutely requires reading, and concludes as follows:

The damage is strewn all around. Democracy is damaged; the House of Commons is damaged; British liberty is under attack. The police are damaged. The actual operation was a spectacular public disaster; many people now think we are living in a police state. The Government has been damaged. They must now realise how angry the public are. The Labour party has been weakened; this has been a horrifying mixture of ignorance, incompetence and shame.

Of course, Jacqui Smith should resign like other Labour home secretaries. She has been responsible for a major political disaster. I do not expect that Gordon Brown will resign, unless it proves that he did indeed have prior knowledge. Yet he bears the ultimate responsibility. The House of Commons remains the centre of our democracy. The freedom of Britain cannot survive if the centre does not hold.

Treasures from the Threads - Number eleven

The Times columnist Gerry Baker, linked here, pontificates on Democracy as if it were alive and well in Britain. This response from Athens nails him nicely: Living in Athens where the idea of democracy as we know it today was born I can only weep at its removal from the political world. Yes, China deserves what it's getting but not seeing since the protests are censured from the TV screens - but look much closer to home. A new EU treaty was brought into existence without the direct consent of the peoples of Europe, except for the Irish. Leaders who promised their electorate a vote on the issue reneged and some were blatantly honest in their skulduggery in admitting that if they asked their electorate the treaty would have been defeated. The EU is now a vast bureaucracy attended by an ineffective and inefficient body politic. America for all her faults and mistakes - Iraq being its most egregious - is still the safeguard of democracy as the ancient Athenians conceived it. Gordon Brown is now recognised worldwide as a clown not only because he can't negotiate a table but because he sold his democratic inheritance for a bauble of power. Dr David Green, Athens, Greece

Sarkozy, the EU and Democracy's death

Well we had to wait until the dying moments of last evening's clash between the French Presidential candidates but at the third prompting from interlocuter PPDA the EU was addressed. The Daily Telegraph report on the TV debate is here. As we have already reported here, here and most significantly here, Nicolas Sarkozy's position on the failed Constitutional Treaty is quite clear, he re-iterated it again last evening most forcefully and clearly, my own summary of his basic position is the following: === The Constitution is finished and it is pointless even trying to revive it. There are elements of the failed Treaty that are essential for the smooth running of the EU such as an elected President and dropping the national veto in certain crucial areas such as immigration. These changes will therefore be imposed as an administrative formality!==== At least the French will know what they will get with President Sarkozy before he is elected to head their nation, although the woolly minded nonsense spouted by his opponent throughout thetelevised debate leaves thinking voters with little other choice. As Blair half announces his departure this week, in typical style he apparently plans to assent to these administrative changes without informing his duped electorate or it appears Parliament. As Mr Sarkozy explained, his position is the same as that being pushed by Germany's Merkel, Britain's Blair and Spain's Zapatero. On the Radio 4 Today programme this morning a Dutchman asked about the potential loss of their largest Bank ABN Amro to British raiders implied that the Dutch man on the street was becoming beyond care having lost their steel industry to British Steel, Corus and their successors and their airline KLM to the French. He did not have to expound further, how then must the Dutch now feel at their democratic rejection of the Constitution being thus ignored?
