Warnings for Brown on his Lloyds Destruction

Brown leaked it via Robert Peston of the BBC on 17th September 2008 linked here. On 18th September among many other criticisms this blog stated, (linked here): If the problem is mistrust by bankers of one another, absorbtion of one bank by another will surely merely shift the target of others mistrust.... On 13th October, I blogged twice on the topic (here and here), among my comments were the following: Of course one cannot really say that a deal is continuing when the price has been re-negotiated downwards by 27 per cent but the join-up of the banks seems to be continuing condemning LLoyds not only to nationalisation but almost certain death! +++++ The only other bank presently involved seems to be Lloyds TSB which was perfectly viable before they became entwined in the machinations of the demented Gordon Brown - now presumably the Lloyds shareholders are to be punished/sacrificed for having doubts on the originally hastily cobbled together deal. British taxpayers can neither afford nor pay for this deal which does not direct a single penny towards the source of the problem - the exploded house price bubble...... Things just get stranger and stranger - Where is the Parliamentary Opposition? On 20th October under the heading "Battle for Britain's Banks" (linked here) my post included these thoughts: Last week the Marx inspired British Government declared war on Britain's Banks.... Lloyds and HBOS issues look set to become a side-show this week, although it is disturbing to see Legal and General recommend the merger, Lloyds shareholders should make their own calculations, large finance companies may easily be swayed by their holdings in HBOS when casting their votes a shareholders of Lloyds! The taxpayers can merely look on in horror and trust that all these deals may yet collapse before a single penny of the billions of taxpayers funds pledged, which can never be realistically raised let alone repaid, are actually legally committed let alone begun to be transferred. On 22nd November was this afterthought to a post linked here: Worrying for annuity holders with Legal and General (such as myself) which insurer supported the HBOS takeover and yesterday approved the dilution of their Barclay's equity value - have they really thought all this through? On 13th December (link here) I despaired: The Guardian reports the meeting where the castrated shareholders of HBOS went along with those of Lloyds in agreeing the merger of the two banks which the mazed mainstream media insist on predicting will be a "Superbank" but in fact will result in years of debts for Britain's bankrupt mainly non-voting electorate and the nation's future taxpaying generation. HBOS Pensioners fear for the future

The insane merger of Lloyds with HBOS forced through by the increasingly demented British Prime Minister has hit another snag as HBOS Final Salary Pension Scheme Trustees go to Court a week from today to obtain some guarantees for their future, report here. Thus on the proper first working day of the New Year one of the PM's many demented projects, dubbed by his media apologists as a "Super Bank" we see the shares in the companies involved plunging even below their levels of last year. AND SO IT CONTINUED WITH 5 MORE BLOGS IN JANUARY AND 7 IN FEBRUARY ON AND ON AND ON UNTIL TODAY'S LONG PREDICTED NEWS.

Jail for Gordon Brown!

It is extremely gratifying for this blogger to read a call for the jailing of the former Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, in a national newspaper. Jeremy Warner an Assistant Editor of the Daily Telegraph writes in that newspaper, linked here: "The case is quite easily constructed; that he did willfully take the brakes off public spending, that he failed to control the recklessness of the banks, that he stripped the Bank of England of its powers of financial supervision and gave them instead to a shiny new, politically correct but wholly inept regulator, that he misled parliament over the state of the public finances....." It may often have seemed fanciful in the boom times of recent years when I called for just such a future policy, there are several other members of the former cabinet who should eventually join him if this nation is ever to restore a working democracy. In a couple of years further in to this age of austerity the demands across the towns and villages will, I believe, achieve just that, but a good start can be made with Brown. Introducing the Brown Levy I suggested here, here, here and here,will add to the pressure and is daily becoming a more urgent necessity in the face of the now obvious UK Property Price collapse which will simultaneously require the amended equity loss sharing arrangements long proposed on this blog..

EU leaders prepare to restore State Executions

As EU leaders meet just before they hope to finally get into force the oppressive Lisbon Treaty, which, inter alia, empowers the EU to restore the death penalty across Europe as only they deem fit, it is fitting that one amongst them already has innocent blood on his hands:

£12,415 that is the amount Gordon Brown has been requested to repay in mis-claimed expenses! 12,415 individual indictments of shame!

Immediate Resignation is the only reasonable course of action now open to this almost criminally incompetent man. The former Home Secretary had to apologise to Parliament today for her transgressions, which to most ordinary citizens appear to border upon embezzlement. This woman was appointed and promoted by Brown, should it need stating that his whole Government should, if he refuses to take the lead, now stand down and offer a General Election. Which Labour MPs remaining beyond this week in Government office can possibly hope for a political career beyond this point - the day the Dartford Connection and Student Loans were hawked around the markets, as if the last remaining scraps to be found following a debauched binge, being all that could be laid hands upon to settle an Off License account for the price of the hair of a dog!

Brown pushed to reforms but has no mandate!

The Guardian reports that Cabinet Ministers, led by the thrice disgraced Mandelson are pushing for sweeping constitutional reforms, read from here. This Government led by its appointed UNELECTED leader, consisting of a Cabinet of many downright crooks and total group of no marks, supported by backbenchers who are daily evidenced to be low life and cheating scum, has no mandate for any change whatsoever! The electorate must now be given the chance to demonstrate with their votes who they wish to govern and why they will not accept the Lisbon Treaty without their promised referendum.

Victim of an overly complex expenses system???

This man Gordon Brown, was Chancellor of the Exchequer for around a decade for Goodness Sakes!! Yet the Sunday Telegraph in its editorial today tries to offer such an explanation and all the MSM dutifully swallow and report it?? Let me repeat what the paper revealing the detail of this huge conspiracy has chosen to say in its editorial today: "There are those MPs who, despite their good intentions, have none the less fallen victim to an overly complex expenses system that has served to portray their actions in an unflattering light. For example, the receipts submitted by Gordon Brown for the cost of a cleaner, shared with his brother Andrew, fall into such a category. There has never been any suggestion of any impropriety on the part of the Prime Minister or his brother." For me the questions remain! Why was an empty flat being cleaned? Why was the occupant of Downing Street claiming expenses for a nearby second flat? Why did he sell our gold at the bottom of the market? Why did he destroy my pension fund? The "poor little street-bred people"

Incredibly the Mail on Sunday reports that there are still 23% of people in Britain who support the thoroughly corrupted Labour Party as forged by Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, read here (with another wicked picture of the mazed Brown). The Graphic of this poll repeatedly being shown on Sky News TV reports this morning is a classic example of how the mainstream media plays on the public's ruined education to boost the Labour Party. In this case by portraying the relevant party percentages in a graphic with a photo of the party leaders, as though there were hardly any difference between 23 and 45 per cent! Shameful manipulation Sky News! Nevertheless it is hard not to assign much of the blame for the country's present plight to the people of the country themselves, to consider that almost a quarter of the populace still supports these clear crooks beggars belief, as the heading to my post hints they must be Kipling's "The poor little street-bred people that vapour and fume and brag," mentioned in his great poem "The English Flag", which may be read from here as a reminder of how far we have sunk! Britain's unelected PM moves to consolidate the fascist police state!

Pictured yesterday, published in The Times, here, and credited to YouTube The conscienceless expenses fiddler and Second-Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith, is to install electronic finger print devices and other biometric paraphernalia in chemist shops and other High Street outlets to advance and consolidate Brown's Police State The Guardian reports this morning. Operating under the total mind control of the now clearly maniacal Prime Minister, Gordon Brown (seen above as photographed yesterday alongside the aptest symbol possible for this anti-democratic, thug surrounded and economically illiterate nation wrecker) sleaze-ridden Smith will spare no expense in a bankrupt nation to consolidate her leader's control. Latest estimates for the ID scheme to be tested in Manchester is now 5.3 billion according to this same report. As another example of the Government's inability to do anything properly, however, The Times, reveals, here, that there is no machine in Britain yet able to read the cards so far issued!

Demented Darling's Budget

Can any sane person be expected to believe Darling's assumptions for the British economy, they make the entire Budget unbelievable and are as follows: Economic Growth 2009 Minus 3.5% 2010 Plus 1.4% 2011 Plus 3.5% What unbelievable claptrap from this grossly incompetent threesome: Debt 175 Billion in 2009/2010 173 Billion in 2010/2011 (Even with his projection of 1.4% Economic Growth) Debt he says will peak in later years at 79% of GDP.... Some hope! These filth have temporarily rendered us all powerless but with this burden on future generations those who follow us will one day get even! Withdraw the pensions of these MP Maggots!

Labour Peer predicts Brown on the skids

Brown's smoke and mirrors economics!

The Daily Mail has a report this morning that one member of the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee foresaw the recession coming last August. As I commented to that report this does not seem much of an achievement, as readers of this blog should be well aware, I wrote: Considering that the credit crunch had been underway for a year in August 2008 this says little for Mr Blanchflower while confirming The Governor and rest of the MPC and Treasury are gross incompetents. In August 2007 I blogged on 'Ironies Too' the following: " 'Britain's economic abyss' After months of disputation with the UK Inland Revenue over money of mine they refused to return, some of which they sit upon to this day, I realised that the UK Treasury were in extremely dire straits after the past ten plus years of Brown's smoke and mirrors." It is all in the Blog's Archives, warning after warning and on 'Ironies' since February 2003." Gruesome reminder for me, as naturally enough it brought home the fact that I never recovered the balance, which at any rate by now has become virtually worthless, ah well at least I got the the money actually sent safely out of sterling before the main collapse began! Unlike my decimated pension fund! That same posting, linked here, although I did not quote this section to the Daily Mail, concluded as follows: Until some major casualties are allowed to reap the consequences of their profligacy the final crunch will just be that much worse. The same problem continues to this day and no doubt will do so even after this week's budget.

Jacqui Smith should recall Lady Macbeth!

Although "kettling" by riot police goes back to 2001 and therefore culpability for allowing the technique must go back to Jack Straw, thereafter to David Blunkett, Charles Clarke and John Reid and would necessarily have to include the two Mayors of London Ken Livingstone and Boris Johnstone the actual blood spilled (in the abdominal cavity of the killed Mr Ian Tomlinson) must mainly be put at the door of the present incumbent Jacqui Smith. The latter, who clearly lacks both conscience and common sense (personally I would not leave her in charge of a small group of five-year olds) maybe presently feels like Lady Macbeth in Act Two Scene II of Shakespeare's play when she boldly asserts: "A little water clears us of this deed" Only to lose her mind and by Act Five Scene I we see her dementedly wandering and bemoaning: "Here's the smell of the blood still. All the perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little hand. Oh, oh, oh!" With Smith gone demands can be made to discover the guidance provided to earlier Home Office ministers on the potential consequences of "kettling" and whether Smith's predecessors and the Mayors of London mentioned above carry any share of the culpability. Charges against the Police Officers involved in a clearly authorised and condoned operation of "kettling", whose risks appear to have been well known not least from the fact that the police appear to have had a house-trained Coroner on hand to rush out with a now clearly erroneous post-mortem result, do not even begin to get to the nub of this matter. The fact that this is a National problem and therefore most likely a Home Office concern is borne out by the events from Nottingham last week as explained in my earlier posting of today. One other consideration is if Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister is such a control freak and knowingly aware of Jacqui Smith's complete incompetence that he might have made himself ultimately responsible for the policing tactics used during the G20 meetings?

Gordon Brown on Unemployment

Friend, I came into politics because I was concerned about unemployment Many unemployed have good reason to be concerned about the policies undertaken in the past by this international menace as well as those presently being put into place or followed through such as massively overspending and thereafter printing valueless money so that he can continue, for a short while, to give the impression of doing something! Doing nothing would be infinitely preferable to these absurdities!

Proof positive that Brown deliberately wrecked Britain's economy!

Bad news for Brown It looks as though the new Governor of the Bank of England, might have got hold of the idea that he really is independent from the Treasury, which is certainly bad news for our incompetent Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown, but more probably and sooner rather than later, for the new Governor Mervyn King (The original link provided no longer works typical for many important references regarding Brown):- .... the new Governor of the Bank of England, yesterday criticised the Government's decision to impose a new inflation target in a move that threatens to open a split between the Bank and Treasury. He said it was "strange" to have an inflation target that did not include house prices and warned it could be seen as "moving the goalposts". Mr King also said the Government would miss its optimistic growth forecasts for the next three years, adding to a chorus of doubt over Gordon Brown's economic forecasts. Personally, however, and strictly as a non-economist, if I wanted to use a statistic showing price rises were no longer that severe a problem, which I assume is Brown's intent, then I think I would leave the property element in. The main criteria surely is consistency, without that the numbers cease to have meaning....just look at the make up of the Dow Jones, complete nonsense on any long term basis.

Only one conclusion is possible - Brown planned the hyperinflation of house prices to meet the otherwise over-optimistic growth targets mentioned in my posting. King presumably allowed ambition to overrule his instincts and common sense. House prices were already over-heated in 2003 which is why I would have included them in the index as they should have been expected to fall helping inflation. Brown had no such intent hence today's bankruptcy of the country! QED.
