Greece 2012 Budget approved under government of Papademos.

Lucas Papademos was appointed to govern Greece by the EU, for whom he had worked to ensure that country's own economic destruction. Mario Monti's position in Italy is an outrage against all democrats, but there is something about the demeanour of the odious Papademos that leaves this particular observer with even more ominous shudders travelling up and down his spinal column. Wikipedia (from where the image above was obtained,) has  the following particularly pertinent detail on his past.

After leaving the Bank of Greece in 2002, Papademos became the Vice President to Wim Duisenberg (and then Jean-Claude Trichet) at the European Central Bank from 2002 to 2010.

Logic argues that it would have been impossible for this man not to have been  personally aware if not involved in the shenanigans perpetrated to shoehorn Greece into EMU, thus guilty in the economic destruction of hos country of birth.

Yet last evening, quite incredibly, the elected parliamentarians in Greece, approved this man's obscene budget, which will drive the Greek people into near penury, for absolutely zero gain for them, but the aquisition of almost absolute power in Greece for this one man, who years ago sold his soul to the evil EU. Seventy years ago, Japan, at Pearl Harbor, undertook an armed attack which was described as marking "a day of infamy"  - seventy years on, and it is the EU acting in a similar manner against all the citizens of its 27 member states.

Why are you surprised that politicians in a EU country vote for European measures against their seeming national interest?

Even in Switzerland, Norway and Iceland their politicians would have them in the EU if the voters allowed them to.
