Papademos, Governor of Greece for the EU, warns that collapse looms!

The former side-kick of Jean-Claude Trichet, Lucas Papademos,(now EU appointed Ruler of Greece,) who sat alongside that ECB head honcho as they created the policies which today nearly all can clearly see are economically destroying the 27 member states of the EU, has today demanded his countrymen accept further cuts to their incomes. Incredible as that is, it may be verified from this link.

If I had posted such a sentence on this blog even only one year ago, even I, fearing and suspecting the absolute worst of the EU over many years, would have been hard put to believe it. The exact quote:

“We have to give up a little so we don’t lose a lot,” Papademos said, according to an e-mailed transcript of his statements to union and business leaders yesterday. Talks later this month with officials from the European Union, the International Monetary Fund and the European Central Bank, the so-called troika, will focus on a “credible” economic plan for 2012 to 2015.

Lucas Papademos was appointed to govern Greece by the EU, for whom he had worked to ensure that country's own economic destruction. Mario Monti's position in Italy is an outrage against all democrats, but there is something about the demeanour of the odious Papademos that leaves this particular observer with even more ominous shudders travelling up and down his spinal column. Wikipedia (from where the image above was obtained,) has  the following particularly pertinent detail on his past.

After leaving the Bank of Greece in 2002, Papademos became the Vice President to Wim Duisenberg (and then Jean-Claude Trichet) at the European Central Bank from 2002 to 2010.

Logic argues that it would have been impossible for this man not to have been  personally aware if not involved in the shenanigans perpetrated to shoehorn Greece into EMU, thus guilty in the economic destruction of hos country of birth.

Yet last evening, quite incredibly, the elected parliamentarians in Greece, approved this man's obscene budget, which will drive the Greek people into near penury, for absolutely zero gain for them, but the aquisition of almost absolute power in Greece for this one man, who years ago sold his soul to the evil EU. Seventy years ago, Japan, at Pearl Harbor, undertook an armed attack which was described as marking "a day of infamy"  - seventy years on, and it is the EU acting in a similar manner against all the citizens of its 27 member states.

The EU puppet PM of Greece, having failed to gain the required signatures for his ongoing betrayals, is reported this evening to be headed to Brussels for further intstructions from the Troika! Read the Reuters report from here.

Greece's grovelling government blessed on this Armistice Day

The picture from the Reuters report, linked here, of Orthodox Priests blessing the affront to Athenian dignity that ids the newly EU imposed government of Greece, may not be reporiduced here for copyright reasons, but some telling words from the accompanying article certainly may:

Technocrat Prime Minister Lucas Papademos took office on Friday to save Greece from bankruptcy, heading a coalition cabinet filled with many of the same politicians who led the nation into crisis and pushed the euro zone to the brink of collapse....

...Analysts said Papademos -- a quiet academic economist -- had to assert his authority over a cabinet packed with the hardened conservative and Socialist party politicians who took turns in power for decades as Greece built up a huge debt that it could not manage, forcing an international bailout.

"Greece has a government that is the result of political compromise among three parties. It is obvious that there was a dealing of the cards," said Costas Panagopoulos, head of ALCO pollsters....

Elsewhere, on the blog Witterings from Witney, there is a letter from Edward Spalton, reminding us all of the real danger we today all once again face as democrat rule is once again snuffed out, country by country all across the Continent of Europe. The 1950 Schumann plan (which was actually Monnet's) struck chords in Germany where ideas of “European Economic Community” arose from darker sources. I translated an early book of that title which included contributions from politics, business, diplomacy and academia. It shows a similar idea of European integration to that we have today. It was published in 1942 and the lead author was Walther Funk , Hitler's Economics Minister, President of the Reichsbank and Minister for Post War Planning. The euro was called the “Europagulden” and the Europa Bank was to be in Berlin, not Frankfurt .

In 1951 Dr Adenauer's Minister of Commerce, Dr. Seebohm, expressed German ambitions thus - “Will free Europe join Germany? Germany is the heart of Europe and the limbs must adjust to the heart, not the heart to the limbs”. Portugal, Italy, Ireland and Greece are now feeling the harsh effects of that adjustment, as will any other EU state which crosses the all-powerful euro economic government which is being set up with Mr. Cameron's spaniel-like agreement.

Under the Lisbon treaty the German-dominated eurozone countries will have sufficient voting power to overrule all the other ten member countries whenever they want. The German dream of Reichsminister Funk & Dr. Seebohm will be reality. Democratic government in Britain will be extinguished – mere Vichy. Frau Merkel reportedly said there could be war if Germany did not get its way."
