Tory MP resigns during Cameron's treacherous EU Council Statement.

The resignation letter of Mark Pritchard MP, as Deputy Chairman of the Conservative's International Office, was timed to be of the maximum embarassment to our treacherous Prime Minister, who as pointed out on this blog also yesterday, is both now scheming to keep Merkozy in power over both him and us, but also eventually accepting that the Fiscal Treaty be soon imposed on Britain. Thick Tory Prime Ministers and their Futile Foreign Secretaries.

Watching the incompetent Foreign Secretary, William Hague, yesterday (for whose resignation this blog has been calling for many moons, most recently on 24th February, linked here), I find myself recalling an earlier, pig-headed, bullying and treacherous British Conservative PM, Edward Heath (version 1.0 if you may, making Cameron after Major verion 3.0) and his ludicrous Foreign Secretary side-kick, whose name has now escaped me, in recalling their farcial attempt to gain extra oil supplies from the Shah of Iran, during an Arab oil embargo, when the government had stupidly and with almost perfectly botched  timing, picked a fight with the coal miner's. (More background in this pdf Firing Line interview with William F Buckley Jr).

I was working in the oil supply industry at the time, so knew many of the details, and therefore, also incidentally, exempt from the three day working week. Our operatives faced heavy fines or even jail sentences, if customers were provided any oil deliveries in excess of the percentage allocations then in force. Heath, (having already ensured the eventual economic destruction of his nation, due to his treacherous signing up to the secret provisions of the ever closer union that is today the EU), sent his Foreign Secretary off to Teheran to beg the Shah for extra crude oil supplies. They were successful, ( who knows at what pointless cost for the Shah was soon to be toppled), but instead of arranging the necessary tankers and shipping the oil to the UK, as any simpleton would have realised would be necessary (to circumvent the international arrangements in force to mitigate the shortages [no need for Lisbon Treaty "solidarity" garbage in those happy days]) they merely assigned the new oil mostly to BP but also to Shell if I recall, who then had to add the quantities to their allocated worldwide sales base, thus providing the UK only a tiny percentage of the volumes begged from the Shah.

Horrifying is it not to note, that some forty odd years later; the Foreign Office is still staffed by numbskulls fully prepared to carry out the most ludicrous policy dictats from Tory thick-headed, non-entities temporarily resident in Downing Street and Carlton Gardens?

Cameron gives UK Assent to Lisbon II Treaty

CNBC TV is reporting that Cameron has conceded the principle that there will be an amendment to the Lisbon Treaty which must mean he has backtracked on every promise and statement he has made on the EU since becoming Conservative Party Leader, there can be no other interpretation of his actions. David Cameron, as long predicted on my blog Teetering Tories, ever since the day he became the most likely leader of the Conservative Party, has thus totally betrayed Britain and particularly all those who voted for him and his party.

Cameron on the Politics Show

The complete and utter moron who leads the Tories has just now stated on the BBC Politics Show that at the next election his manifesto will keep the commitment to raise the inheritance tax threshold to one million pounds but will have no commitment to undo Darling's higher tax band announced in last Wednesday's Budget. Mind numbing inchorence hiding incompetence! He has no comprehension of the state of the country's finances this interview must make absolutely clear, if not it will be when he addresses his party in under an hour

Daily Mail gets Real

Unlike the Tory Party which the Daily Mail supports the newspaper can see the real problems in the economy, after all car production was reported down 60 per cent last evening but in his first six questions to the PM for four weeks the useless Cameron could not mention the economy once. He should get this eyeful from the top story line of the Mail Online this morning:

House prices 'could drop another 55%' and leave Britain totally bankrupt

houses for sale

House prices could slump by another 55 per cent, a respected City forecaster warns. It also predicts a deep recession lasting throughout next year and a 'very real probability' that Britain will go bankrupt.

Crisis for Conservatism - Part Three

It has finally been reported that the so-called Leader of the Opposition has returned to work - BUT: The Daily Telegraph reports: Aides have cut back his diary for the next few weeks in order to give him time to grieve with his wife, Samantha, and their two younger children, and he is likely to be at Westminster for only a few hours on his first day back. (Read it here if like me you cannot believe this!) The job of Leader of the Opposition should never have become a part-time jolly as Cameron was determined to fashion it from the start. Reports of the gravity of the illness of the son of Mr Cameron, emerging since his death, including tales of nights spent by the boys parents on hospital floors hardly encourage one to believe that this man has ever had his mind fully on his political responsibilities! Many of his closer political colleagues have clearly been complicit in hiding the true extent of Cameron's unsuitability for a Leadership role considering his family circumstances! Given the appalling state of the country, some blame for which has to be laid at the door of the lamentable opposition offered by Cameron down the years and closely detailed on my blog "Teetering Tories" linked here, it is now well past time for Cameron to step down - especially if this report in the Daily Telegraph, linked above is correct!

Britain's threatened energy supply

The "Resistance" newsletter put out by New Alliance is available in pdf format from this link and covers the threat from both Government incompetence and the EU. David Cameron's Conservative Party policy on energy is, unbelievably enough, even worse than the Government's policies! Nuclear is the ONLY place for government investment or subsidy and co-incidentally will also thankfully shut-up the insufferable carbon emissions lobby if the economic depression has not see them off first!

"Frankly not good enough"

Cameron, Leader of the opposition, this morning in the News of the World ( as quoted in the Sunday Telegraph, here, ) wrote on the Prime Minister's reaction to the arrest of an MP and Privy Councillor as follows: "FRANKLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH" Where is the outrage, where is the positive response? As Britain's democracy disappears, the performance of the Conservative Leader is quite clearly: "Frankly Not Good Enough" NOT BY MILES!

Treasures from the threads - Number twenty-five

The following is a comment to an accurate description of the present lamentable state of the Conservative Party as an opposition or alternative Government by Simon Heffer in the Daily Telegraph this morning, linked here: Give it another term under Labour and it won't matter. Many Brits have already left and will swap passports in due course. Britain is dead, a twitching corpse eaten from within by an EU that hated it, as the Scots cheer from the North in the UKM they thought was Scotland, breaking up a Britain that Brown has to keep supporting to stay in office. Better to let it all collapse. Brown is a vanity laden idiot who thinks he's saved the planet. A legend in his own mind. A Mandelson player of the dark piccolo, picking the notes as pied piper to the numpty Left in academo-medialand. He has combined being arsonist with fire chief. Sold our gold reserves, abused the PFI, shovelled debt forward onto future generations with no vote, invented an uber-class of oh-so-clever non-jobbers who bleed the country white, has suckled on banking's teat to pay for the borrowing we can't afford, then blamed them, the banks, free markets, capitalism and the US for his own appalling behaviour, because that always plays well with the idiot Left who prop this Government up. He's bailed the financial system out with our money - but anything other would have exposed him as the criminal that he is and he would have lost all those votes based on fiat and falsehood. And HM Opposition? Where are they? Watching Brown continue to play with the matches while the country turns to ashes around him. Letting him build his plinth based on lies and debt. Where's the anger? Where's the opposition? Ammunition everywhere and they pick up conkers. Pick the f-ing ammo up and pepper that smug Labour front bench for former student Marxists. Never mind EU/UK lemmings, have a deep wallow in the Beeb propaganda and watch your Come Dancing, X factor and footie while the CCTV cameras roll and the databases churn, building the new serfdom for a politico-financial global elite who let you think you live in a democracy. All unreported because the media is in league with it. It's a tragic unreported farce and Brown keeps fiddling and what's left of the country keeps burning. MPs on the take while offloading Sovereignty

David Cameron's mortgage claims are just one highlight of the first details to emerge of the financial fiddlings of the filth who have handed away our self-governance. Having fought for three years to cover these expenses up we can be sure of only one thing, far worse waits to be revealed: The documents, released after a mammoth three-year battle by MPs to keep them secret, showed how Mr Cameron used the allowance system to recoup £21,293 to help pay off his mortgage. Link here. The whole world knows that slimeball Cameron really lives in Central London and makes much of cycling to his hobby in the House of Commons. The maximum he could claim is set out by Parliament as follows, link here: Column 1: Cost of staying away from main home The Additional Costs Allowance (cost of staying away from main home/ ACA) is paid to reimburse Members for necessary costs incurred when staying overnight away from their main home for the purpose of performing parliamentary duties. Inner London Members do not receive this allowance. 2006/07 ACA maximum of £22,110 2005/06 ACA maximum of £21,634 2004/05 ACA maximum of £20,902
