Clarkson apologises for "One-eyed" jibe against Brown

Reuters has a brilliant apology from Clarkson as follows: "In the heat of the moment I made a remark about the Prime Minister's personal appearance for which, upon reflection, I apologise," he said in a statement. Thus he leaves the Australians with the information that the whole of the UK knows only too well to their great and ongoing cost - the Prime Minister is stupid and an idiot who tells lies! The fact he has only one eye was probably best not mentioned as it resulted apparently from a rugby accident!
