Britain MUST vote on the EU before Scotland

It would be the height of folly, with the European Union entering the final stages of economic disintegration, to hold a referendum on the future relationship between England and Scotland, which would necessarily question the role of Wales and Northern Ireland, not to mention causing huge dissent within several English regions.

Our political leaders must shake themselves free from their stupor brought on by self-hypnotism and look at Europe and particularly their own nation of Great Britain and Northern Ireland as it actually today exists, together with the awful obligations with which it has saddled itself under the present Treaties of the European Union.

Poland's Lisbon Ratification looks increasingly problematic!!

Much media comment mentions concerns in Poland about legalisation of gay marriage as a risk seen lying in the Charter of Fundamental Rights, but potentially more lethal to the Lisbon Treaty itself are reports that fear of individual German citizen's claims to ancient property rights could cause a carve up of this frequently invaded nation. Such worries would act as a good counterweight to the economic weight normally felt from Poland's powerful neighbour. I was perhaps a little hasty earlier this week when I suggested that once again Polish doubts might prove insubstantiave. Failure to ratify by Poland either in Parliament or by a referendum, where a 5o per cent turnout would be required, would be a major blow to the developing pan-european EU dictatorship. The EU steam-roller would find this a much harder obstacle than a mighty NO from the much smaller Ireland. Perhaps it will also bolster the nerves of Britain's peers.

Cannot Britain's Foreign Secretary and the powers that be within the European Union recognise the ridiculous figures they make of both themselves and their institutions when they speak of democracy while forcing through the EU Reform Treaty on four hundred million once free Europeans, without any readiness to listen to their preferences except in Eire?
