"This House" by James Graham a 'MUST SEE'!

I have not been blogging for the past few days as I needed to take some time off to see the National Theatre production of the play "This House" by James Graham which portrays the parliamentary skullduggery of the nineteen-seventies.

The general disinterest to that destruction of our democracy by the general British population to those disgraceful events was aptly portrayed by an apparently supefluous pop group loudly strumming away beyond the dominating presence of the face of Big Ben in a magnificent set that enhanced the cleverly written plot.

I left England as a result of these shenanigans and went to work in the USA. That the Labour Party was able to revive itself from those disgraceful years and once again conspire to trash the nation under Blair and Brown is a damning indictment of the utter unfitness and general stupidity of the tribal British electorate.

In the interval I had the misfortune to stand in line at the water and ice-cream stall alongside Jack Straw. Scruffily dressed in a manner that if seen on a tube platform might cause one to select a different door, on suspicion of mal-odour, he represented a fitting symbol at that very theatre of the degradation that he and his ilk have brought upon Britain!

I hope as many as possible will make the effort to see the play, even the snow covered difficulties of a Normandy and Channel crossing could not make my visit seem unnecessary, for these MPs of all parties were the ones, who as a Scottish MP makes clear in the dialogue, destroyed our nation and centuries of struggle and endeavour that was sacrificed by our forebears in building it!

Jack Straw accepts responsibility for whiplash scams!

An interview, linked here, regarding car insurance costs and whiplash claims, includes a rare acceptance of culpability from one of the bunch of incompetent rogues, Jack Straw, who ran the country during the years of the recent Labour Party administrations under Blair and Brown. When will the remaining Labour brigands who wrecked the entire nation (as Moody's confirms this morning) be similalrly honest and accept culpability for what they have wrought.

The actual acceptance of culpability from Straw, ex-Justice Secretary and the first man to hold that treasonous office, was for high minimum legal fees payable through something he calls the electronic portal. A suitable name for a 21st century scam which apparently makes our ever wealthy legal profession even more obscenely rich while taking the nation ever further from a just society.

David Cameron, always up for a bit of free publicity, on topics of only minor import to our once proud nation, is holding a Downing Street conference today on this topic. Instead he should be regaining the given away authority from the obscene EU, one of whose Presidents, the grotesque Van Rompuy, is boasting on Twitter, of meeting the Chinese PM this morning:

The thoroughly odious Jack Straw

Smith, Straw, Brown and the Queen.

Consider Britain's Home Secretary Jacqui Smith MP for Redditch. Week after week, month after month, year after year she has been travelling from Parliament to her sister's home inwardly calculating the amount she is accumulating by ripping off the British taxpayers. Not a moral bone can exist in her entire make-up. Consider Jack Straw, having held almost every high office of state except that of Prime Minister itself, and now falsely adopts the garb of Lord Chancellor while sitting in the House of Commons and handing the Queen 'Her' Governments proposals. Such a grand man, such a fraud - a lowly worm indeed, who in spite of all his salary and perks will stoop to bypass the very legislation he introduced so that a Texas energy company can expend a mere three thousand pounds on throwing him a birthday party while presumably trusting that a failed planning application in his constituency might be re-instated. Consider Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister, who sits in 10 Downing amongst the ruins of the country and economy, wrought by his own hand, and yesterday causes an announcement to be issued that Downing Street considers such matters closed. But unhappily it does not end there, does it? For Great Britain is a Constitutional Monarchy and atop of this fetid, steaming, stinking pile of dung - balanced and supported by her Consort Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, sits Queen Elizabeth the Second, who down the decades has accepted the loyalty, largesse and even affection of her people while ignoring the steadily eroding corruption of the system over which she still presides. The bankers under questioning in the House of Commons today are clearly loathsome scum, but their crimes against the people of the country, now so clearly displayed, are nothing as compared to those of Smith, Straw, Brown and regrettably the Queen.

The Fake Lord Chancellor and an undeclared donation

The Mole from The First Post is proving an entertaining read, this on Jack Straw being typical: ...the Standards and Privileges Committee have found an equally shocking lapse by Jack Straw, the Secretary of State for Justice, in failing to properly disclose a donation of £3,000 to his constituency by the energy giant, Canataxx, to celebrate Straw's 25th anniversary as the MP for Blackburn.

It would not matter so much if Canataxx were just a local firm. But they are responsible for a number of controversial planning applications for gas storage, including some in the northwest, the region where Straw has his constituency. And the committee point out that Straw was the Home Secretary who was responsible for introducing the electoral law requiring MPs to declare such donations.

"We are surprised and disappointed that, of all Members, Mr Straw should have broken the rules. Mr Straw is an experienced Member - indeed, the incident that led to the complaint was a celebration of his 25 years in the House.

"As Home Secretary, Mr Straw put the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2001 on the Statute Book." The same source has new information on this same energy firm Canataxx and another dodgy character from Blackburn, Lord Taylor, linked here. How can individuals with any shred of decency continue to work in the Home Office or Department of Justice with such characters in charge?
