Julian Assange shows Bullingdon Britain as Miners' Murderers and Justice Assassins!

Well it did not take the attitudes of our lightweight and arrogant Prime Minister and his Coalition Cabinet colleagues to dispel any goodwill Britain might have gained amongst informed worldwide public opinion through its staging of the Olympics did it?

The demand this morning that colleagues of the miners shot in South Africa disregard their mourning families and return to work today, or face the sack from their London based and British owned employers, must fill those watching across the world with horror.

More knowledgeable and well-informed followers of international relations and diplomatic niceties will already have been filled with utter revulsion at the Foreign Secretary, William Hague's readiness to send police into the embassy of a foreign state in London, threatening to enforce the totalitarian and widely loathed instrument of mass oppression by the secret powers of the EU - the European Arrest Warrant, upon which this blog has frequently reported.

Britain's Government shames England!

European Arrest Warrant - The Enforcement of Tyranny!

This blog has recently attacked Viviane Reding the EU Justice Commissioner and one of severla Vice Presidents of that useless body, for her extreme and fanatical views on European Federalism, read here, her latest offering, insultingly delivered in London, being linked here.

Instead of travelling across Europe trumpeting the eradication of democracy across the entire EU, thus almost the whole of a once free and democratic Europe, this woman should steer clear of discussing "islands" and/or  "islanders", subjects on which her ignorance seems almost complete! Time spent considering her job description and pondering on what Justice really means, also seems necessary.

Any definition of Justice, as accepted down the ages, would not include what is described as follows, a radio interview with one of many victims of the European Arrest Warrant broadcast on BBC Radio 4 this morning.

Here (the live link is delayed due to "problems at the BBC) it will be added when available or check the linked page for 07:50 am). Update 1230 GMT., the interview may now be heard from here.

Any having the stomach to read Reding's latest speech, and make it to the end without feeling outraged, may like to note that in my view one change to her last sentence alone would deliver the very sad truth:

Without justice there would Within the EU there can be no justice and therefore quite simply be no neither freedom and no  nor society.

'Parents, be very afraid ...!

The full quote from the mother of a(n) European Arrest Warrant victim, according to The Mail this morning was as follows: 'Parents, be very afraid – this summer it could be your sons wrongly accused yet you'll be powerless to stop their extradition and immediate detention.' The article also has a fact box on the European Arrext Warrant and the even more sinister European Investigation Order (discussed in much detail in several postings below this) as follows:

VICTIM OF THE EURO-WARRANT

The British Government and courts are powerless to protect anyone who becomes the subject of a European Arrest Warrant.

In addition, the accused is denied the right to challenge the warrant before he or she is spirited overseas.

The warrant was agreed by EU leaders including Tony Blair and introduced in 2004. Labour ministers signed up in the belief it would speed justice and improve relations between EU countries.

Last year, 1,032 Britons were extradited abroad to face trial but just 98 foreign nationals were brought here to face criminal charges.

But far from rowing back the powers handed to foreign courts, the coalition Government has just extended them.

Last month Home Secretary Theresa May signed up to the European Investigation Order, the partner to the European Arrest Warrant.

It allows foreign police to travel to the UK and take part in the arrest of Britons, place them under surveillance, monitor bank accounts and demand DNA samples.
