I posted your speech on my blog last evening as soon as it appeared in Hansard – Hear, hear!
As you suggested, the problem goes much deeper, backbenchers are now part of a structure of government and control that is in the process of installing fascism in Greece, as I also posted this time yesterday as well as on the blog Orphans of Liberty.
What are our back bench parliamentarians doing about that?

Greece to be the "Guinea Pig" for EU appointed Prime Ministerial Overseers

Lucas Papademos, the present EU puppet PM of Greece, is reported in ekathimerini this morning, linked here, to be putting together a permanent group to oversee the governance of Greece. A quote:

Acting on the recommendations of French advisers as well as other experts, Prime Minister Lucas Papademos is overseeing the creation of a permanent team that will be responsible for coordinating the actions of future governments.

The EU is an organisation in which Britain shares part responsibility for its actions and supposedly jointly controls, along with other supposed Western democracies.

When do the British Government propose to call a halt to these outrages to everything for which Britain, under its Monarch, is supposed to stand and represent across the world!

We are becoming a party to the installation of fascism!

The true face of the EU revealed

This video comes from a report from EU Observer, linked here. Watching the baton wielding agents of the EU, clearing Madrid's Plaça Catalunya, note the absolute absence of any individual markings allowing any identification, one from another. They seem comparatively harmless (given the real nature of the organisation on whose behalf they act,) being filmed as they are. Why then, the oh so deliberate anonymity?

Rewarding incompetence and negligence or merely Nationality?

The EU crippled the economies of its member states from the introduction of the Euro Currency and thereafter. This was because it was a political, rather than economic programme!

As may be read in this profile/C.V., of the German, Klaus Regling, linked here, this Eurocrat was the Director General for Economic and FinancialAffairs of the European Commission from 2001 to 2008, the period when economic stagnation took hold across the EU,leading eventually to the present still growing crisis and economic distress of several EU and Eurozone member states.

What would a Democratic Society do with such an incompetent? What would a system based upon Justice decide to extract or exact as a fitting penalty for his abject failures? Not the reward about which you may read below, I would be sure, such abuses can surely not have been so rewarded in Europe since the days of the barbarities of the Middle Ages.

Klaus Regling, has, incredibly, been appointed head of the EFSF and therefore a kind of Obergruppenführer placed in effective control of the onetime country of Ireland! Read here.

Can anyone who really examines what is going on in the EU continue to retain their sanity?

Here is a man, with no apparent attributes, a record steeped in misjudgements and failures( a malfunctioning cog from a thoroughly corrupt machine,) now appointed to control a once democratic, independent and sovereign nation (one of several on whom he has wrought similar economic penury), with no vote and no fanfare. Just the steady creep of Secretive Fascism steadily re-establishing itself across Europe!

Unanimity of Thursday's votes points to EU Fascism

A feature of dictatorships around the world is the imitation they make of democratic procedures which they subsequently cannot resist manipulating to inevitably result in near unanimous decisions. Even Saddam Hussein used only to achieve about 98% of such votes however! Last Thursday the thoroughly worthless two candidates for the post of EU Council President and High Representative achieved unanimous support from the 27 democracy destroyers who once led a similar number of fully free and independent nation states. Such notions of freedom, democracy and independence will be gone on 1st December, just nine sole remaining days! Only nine days for one former sovereign nation to rescind their ratification of this dreadful Lisbon Treaty! Fat chance if their supposed democracy loving elected leaders are anything to go by. How can two candidates merely looking like they do ever have been appointed unanimously? Even less likely when considering their absence of credentials. The appointees are so lacking in credibility and experience that contacts of mine from across the world have reacted with contempt and derision. Perhaps a good thing as international repugnance at what is taking place in Europe is possibly one of the few hopes left for sanity, accountability and decency to be restored. Cannot Britain and France be removed from the UN Security Council and the other 25 nations removed from the UN General Assembly on the grounds that they now cease to exist as independent states? But would that let in the loathsome EU itself ? A dreadful possibility now that it has been granted a legal personality by the treacherous fawning fools we ourselves voted in and who have now appointed Hertz Van Rumplestiltskin (lovely illustration of the new EU President with the fairy tale princess halfway through the Wikipedia story, if you click on the name) and Baroness Mandelpawn. At least in the United Kingdom the reality of the disaster is about to be brought home, a brilliant illustration of our plight and the pretence of the power now missing from our elected representatives has appeared on another blog linked above and here.
