They do however absolve themselves : "The majority of Europeans (70%) think that corruption is unavoidable and that it has always existed".
I simply don't believe that figure.
The longer one is in a corrupt system the more acceptance one gives to the inevitability of it continuing perhaps.
It seems to me as I recall the great majority of people in England believed their poltics was fairly uncorrupted before we joined what has become the corrupt EU. The longer we remain within it the more acceptable corruption will seem and therefore the worse it will become. Seems to me anyway.
