Appointed Greek Government breaks promise on February elections.

EU Observer carries the unsurprising report of the election "deferment,"  confirming rumours of a two month delay of a general election in Greece to April, which have been circulating for some time.

The surprise will be if an election is held even then, as appointed governments get entrenched they become harder to shift as history proves.

Former Prime Minister Papandreou, has today resigned the leadership of the socialist party as is reported here.
