UK Treasury rules out specific IMF fund for the Euro

A statement to the above effect has just been made in the Commons in Parliament.

Mr Peter Bone MP asked why devaluation should be ruled out for Greece and a referendum on continued Euro membership denied. He also asked whether the YK Treasury had a plan for the collapse of the Euro! The spokesman stated the Treasury were prepared for a range of possibilities. A Link to the Hansard report on these exchanges will be posted here when available.
