Fukushima radiation levels detected at highest levels since Tsunami!

CNN International covers the item headlined above, linked here! In the five months since the tsunami and disaster at the Fukushima nuclear plant, the West's media seems recently to have mostly pretended that the accident never took place.  Obtaining radiation levels across the world, in spite of the supposed interconnectedness of the internet, is no easy task.

This blog has tended to follow this matter because at the time the tsunami began to strike the coast of Japan, I made merely one post on that day, unusual even then, and for some reason it appeared as follows:

11-3-11 An interesting day!

This blog will have no further postings until 13-3-11 or as Americans would put it 3/13/11.

I know why I expected not to be able to blog for two days, I went to Naujac-sur- Mer, (for a memorial service,) as detailed in later postings, but why did I choose to describe the date as interesting.  History, of course, will decide that day will be remembered for this!

Why have we ignored the radiation levels flowing from Fukushima? I have blogged from time to time as may be re-read from here, but useful facts are few and far between and difficult to track down. Maybe the news is so bad and the solutions available to mankind so few or useless, that it is perhaps better that as few people as possible really know!  If so 11-3-11 will have been a day proving to be far more than just merely interesting.
