Irish "bullied"? You must be joking. Never underestimate the Irish. Your "analysis" (I use that word in a loose sense) ignores the impact of the financial crisis and the economic collapse in Ireland. On closer examination you will find that the Irish have taken a pragmatic decision based on their own self interest.
