Eastergate - Tories demand apology from Brown

After yesterdays pathetic Conservative response that the e-mails were childish, and that it was astounding that those at the centre of government had nothing better to do in the present economic crisis - the Conservative Party is finally demanding an apology from the Prime Minister himself. (Note especially for Iain Dale - there is nothing, absolutely nothing to which this Labour Government will not stoop, effective opposition requires recognition of that FACT!) The News of the World on the Eastergate scandal with full details on the allegations is linked here. The smears and the fact that Charlie Whelan was copied on the e-mails from McBride to Draper are revealed in The Sunday Times, linked here.
