Total refuses talks until Immingham strikers return to work

The situation at Lindsey Refinery in Immingham seems certain to remain difficult following the French oil companies refusal to continue discussing the problem until the strikers return to work. The Union leaders of Unite and the GMB, who have of course sold out their British workers by their enthusiastic endorsement of the present labour market conditions within the EU, are reportedly holding national meetings in Scunthorpe. Lord Mandelson continues his tour of television studios misrepresenting the reality of the Viking/Lava/Jaffert European Court of Justice decisions.
