Mandelson throws petrol on the flames

His Lordship spoke from Davos and disregarding the businesses for whose prosperity he owes his first priority, threw them and their workforces to the winds. The report is in The Independent on Sunday, linked here: In a statement issued from the world economic forum in Davos, Lord Mandelson said: "I understand people's concerns about jobs and it is important to make sure that both domestic UK law and European rules are being applied properly and fairly. But it would be a huge mistake to retreat from a policy where, within the rules, UK companies can operate in Europe and European companies can operate here. Protectionism would be a sure-fire way of turning recession into depression." Slave labour at whatever whim the oppressive EU decides is the clear message of such contract work, destruction of ordinary family life is the certain result - these methods have nothing whatsoever to do with individual freedom of movement for work! Read about the latest Miliband failure on this matter in the Mail, from here.
