How can the Tories cope with the legacy of apparent paedophile and traitor Ted Heath?

In addressing all the ghastly detail of the reality behind the man that was Prime Minister Ted Heath we first need to form a view of what exactly is the Conservative Party of today. What of the Tory Party of today? First we must guess at who controls it. Is it those in the Heath tradition or the patriotic Thatcher wing? Deciding which is complicated by the role of Francis Maude, who according to this report appears to be controlling the deadened brain of the dope dazed dolt that is David Cameron. (Making completely laughable the Sunday Telegraph guess that he will replace Andrew Michell as Chief Whip,)

Co-incidentally Andrew Mitchell is listed alongside Francis Maude's own father in the list of Politicians amongst Old Rugbeians, here. Angus Maude, seems most clearly to be a Thatcherite, his stint as editor of the Sydney Morning Herald, sacking by Heath over aeronautical policy, re-inforcing such a view.
In the obituary in The Independent, linked here, the following puzzling passage appears:

When he left the government in 1981 he did so very much against the wishes of the Prime Minister, but not least because he did not want to stand in the way of the burgeoning political career of his son Francis.

If father and son saw eye to eye on policy, then why would such a resignation have been necessary. Were there powerful people with something on Angus in which case where stood Francis then and where indeed today?

Angus Maude was hugely influential regarding policy of the Conservative Party, the files for his period as Deputy DG of the Conservative Political Centre are at the Bodleian Library in Oxford, see here, so even those closed could now be reviewed for clues by one with sufficient authority.

As collapse approaches, as it surely must with the obscene and sordid detail now emerging of how our nation has been completely sold down the river for forty years, as detailed by the Mail in 2003 linked here, power could shift rapidly, the Rothschild links remain strong in Downing Street witness Letwin and Osborne's positions, Maude himself may have a foot in that camp, time will tell.

Labour of course, however foul the Tories, is worse, what a crying shame that LibDems sell their soul to the EU as a prior condition for candidate selection, elsewise this hung Parliament, with some good will from backbenchers, might truly set the country aright and back towards the democracy and freedom, in which cause so many of our servicemen have died for nigh on one hundred years.

Franco/German Year opens today - Was Maastricht Maude their UK Mole?

The celebrations for the Année Franco/Allemande are about to kick off. They will lead to a great celebration  next January on the 50th Anniversary of the signing of the Elysée Treaty by De Gaulle and Adenauer.

Some excuse for such arrangements may have been acceptable in the early stages of the EU, it is many years since they should have long since ceased in any arrangement of equals.

Far from celebrating the economic crisis into which such a side deal has contributed to delivering the 27 former nation states of Europe, now comprising the EU, should it not rather rather be an occasion for deep thought and early reform.

Nevertheless, here we are as we are, and what a fine mess it is too, very largely brought upon us all we 27 by the successive Governments of France and Germany. We must, therefore, now rescue ourselves!

Times move along, how Thatcher was removed and Maastricht thus enabled, how Britain became economically neutered and its industries sequestered will all in the fullness of time be revealed.

This week, without Britain, most of the EU countries got their Foreign Ministers together and decided to push ahead towards full union together, eventually with a European army. We were not invited, talk of whether we stay in the EU, by referendum or otherwise, is no longer relevant. We have been publicly excluded. How now do we therefore proceed. Perhaps Nigel Farage of UKIP will be asked such a question on Radio 4 Today this morning, although I doubt he will.

So let us turn to something we can control, how do we proceed to rectify these decades of disastrous errors with those responsible still holding power. A start could be made by removing those most obviously involved.

My researches on Maastricht this week have revealed the part played by one signatory, Minister for the Cabinet, Francis Maude, in the removal of Maggie Thatcher, an essential step for the enactment of Maastricht.

Happily he has continued to act in a manner that makes it surprising the Cabinet table is filled (particularly when including members of another party) with such a companion at the table. Brief researches of his more recent actions revealed his expenses history leading to four residences and an extraordinary attempt to raise Cabinet Ministers' pensions, alone among public servants, at the peak of the austerity drive earlier this year, both of which I linked on Twitter yesterday, but may be read again, here and here.

Francis Anthony Aylmer Maude MP Why near power! Not, why not resign?

Everything he has been near or touched carries the taint of those things that are destroying Great Britain - Cambridge, Inner Temple, Morgan Stanley,Westminster Councillor, Assistant Whip, PC, the list is seemingly endless regarding his establishment contacts yet not one single actual accomplishment!

How typical of this entire Cabinet, it appears, if only there were somebody beyond this normal mode standing in the London Mayoral elections, totally unconnected from the three main parties. Then the great metropolis of London, England's Capital City, could register a protest against the ruling political non-entities and yes-men, just as Bradford West did last night!

If only Maude would resign, but that of course would be quite out of character, being a possibly human response to the foolish accident of the housewife tonight suffering 40% burns after transferring petrol from a can to jam jars (for her daughter to hoard on this Minister's advice), by the open flame of her cooker in her suburban kitchen.
