Czech President Vaclav Klaus to address Cornell University 24th September.

A diary note of some importance. The only leader of an EU ex-nation state with the courage of his convictions, indeed it appears sometimes the only such leader with any convictions at all, is to make an address at Cornell University where he studied economics on 24th September. It will be worth remembering that date I feel certain. The Cornell press release is here. Klaus's comments on the Czech judges vetoing their own pay cut also makes interesting reading and is linked from here.
