President Klaus demands Lisbon Treaty change

The BBC has the report on an added sentence to the Treaty demanded by the Czech President as a condition of his signing the dreadful document, linked here. As soon as the sense of the sentence, which concerns the Charter of Fundamental Rights, is available in English it will be posted on this blog. The EU has always maintained that ANY CHANGE to the Treaty could result in a complete re-negotiation of the entire document - could this be the breakthrough for which democrats and freedom lovers have so long waited?
