French car bail-out bans out-sourcing abroad - Bye bye EU!

More is appearing on the French automobile bail-out package which I reported this morning the Czech Republic felt might well be aimed at their automobile industry. Deutsche Welle has a report from which come these quotes: As part of the deal, France's two largest automakers, Renault and Peugeot-Citroen, will reportedly agree not to outsource car production to low-wage countries.

During the period of the five-year loan, the companies have agreed not to shut any French factory or outsource production abroad, according to news reports.

AND the EU feels it right to criticise President Obama's package? But for French taxpayers is this not plain common sense, just as buying US steel has to be logical for US stimulus package construction work, Globalisation RIP perhaps??
