Proper comment on Blair and New Labour? In fact the comments relate to France and their PM, M de Villepin - but note this closing paragraph: In a display of business as usual, M de Villepin said France was not interested in "media soap opera" and left for a long-planned dinner meeting with Tony Blair last night in London. In periods of peril who else can the exposed and doomed cling to but those in a similar plight?
