Wikipedia shuts its Italian web site in protest at state censorship laws

The announcement, (summarised in this post's headline above,) of this startling move, is here, with grave implications for all the former nations now locked within the rapidly failing EU.

It could hardly have come at a more ominous moment, when the state controlled newspapers and broadcasters across the EU are clearly failing to report the facts on the EU's  mounting existential crisis.
