<"Most people prefer to believe that their leaders are just and fair, even in the face of evidence to the contrary, because once a citizen acknowledges that the government under which they live is lying and corrupt, the citizen has to choose what he or she will do about it. To take action in the face of a corrupt Government risks harm to life and loved ones. To choose to do nothing is to surrender one's self image of standing for principles. Most people do not have the courage to face that choice. Hence, most propaganda is not designed to fool the critical thinker, but only to give the moral cowards an excuse to think nothing at all." We have to bring our trroops home and deploy them throughout our Country, but mainly in areas with high Muslim communities.
I applaud your opening paragraph, especially your comment on the monarchy. I have been, up till now, a royalist but the Queen has consistently ignored her solemn oath at her coronation. She has therefore, by denying her people any say, brought the monarchy to an end.
They may carry on, as the Dutch or Norwegian royal families live. Riding bicycles through London and all getting proper jobs.
The Royal Palaces should now be taken over for housing purposes for the many young people who are sleeping on the streets.
Mind you I find it rather significant that many of the Royal Family have re-discovered Australia! Perhaps they are going to emigrate?
