Minor Ministerial Maggots

The Daily Telegraph today has more details of the junior ministers manipulations read here. It is The Independent, however, which has the best commentary on these unsurprising but disgusting details, read "The Shaming of Parliament" here and Steve Richards "A catastrophe that leaves our democracy in crisis" from here. The item that struck this blogger as he reviewed the media coverage yesterday was the oft repeated mantra that because the public objected to raising the salaries of these scumbags they were somehow justified in ripping off the taxpayer in expenses as if they were performing some useful function in the nation, rather than having handed its rich heritage, sovereignty and independence to the EU. Vote for no party with a sitting MP in Westminster at the June elections - show your own deep disgust of this destruction of your Parliament!!
