Pound tumbles against the US Dollar

The mentally crippled occupant of 10 Downing Street fled to the relative calm of Belfast this morning as the Pound Sterling suffered the latest effects of his gross negligence over many years. A BBC report even has the sorry tale (on its web site) linked here. David Cameron, googled here for the latest news two minutes ago remains invisible. Lloyds shares opend 14 per cent lower in London this morning, but a woman being in Jane Goody's ward scoops the news channels. No talk of resignations anywhere!

Yes, it's not only staggering to find a total lack of news about it, but it's also alarming to find a virtual political blackout exists at what is clearly the worst situation sterling has experienced in a quarter of a century.

News of shares sliding too, is blacked out it appears.

I can't watch the news at the moment as it's just the same crap on loop.

Leaving aside the horrible deaths of those lads in NI the other day and of course all our sympathy to them and their families. WHEN were the killings of two British soldiers EVER given three days of airtime on any other occasion?
