Failed EU Summit on 1st March 2009

Even worse than anticipated I fear! The main media has reasonable coverage in The Times, linked here and titled 'Suspicion and self-interest behind the European Union Rift'. The IHT concentrates on President Sarkozy cooling on Commission President Barroso for a second term, here, while the best insight (as so often) is from Bruno Waterfield in his Telegraph blog, here, titled 'European (dis) Union holds crisis summit'.
