Financial Crisis

Jean-Claude Trichet, head of the ECB has just admitted his bank is accepting sub-prime mortgage paper as collateral for loans to banks! The Government in the UK meanwhile has accepted as debt the liabilities of Northern Rock with no move to have any call on any assets. Cuckoo, cuckoo and no it isn't yet spring!
